This restaurant is hands down one of the best places for Haitian food! The flavors are authentic, fresh, and absolutely delicious. My order was hot and ready right on time, and they answered the phone quickly when I called. What really stood out to me was the customer service—the staff had such great energy, were friendly, and made me feel welcome from the moment I walked in. I’ve been ordering from Chef Lakay for a long time. They were the first restaurant where I felt like I was back home, eating the home cooked meals my mom used to make. I was so sad when they temporarily closed because where was I going to get quality Haitian food that I didn’t have to make! Lol. All in all, great food, great customer service. If you’re new up here and trying to figure out what Haitian food spot is the best, Chef Lakay is one of them!

The hours of operation can’t be correct
Second of all, there’s not even a way for you to be able to know you’re at the restaurant because the name of the restaurant is not even on outside of it
I literally passed the restaurant three times and didn’t even realize I was passing it because the address is online. It’s not the same thing that it looks when you pull up in person.
Was really looking forward to trying this restaurant, but I guess I’ll stick to the restaurant that I’ve been using
