Great place to stop for a drink, family & pet friendly. They don’t serve food but allow you to bring outside food in. They cater to dogs & it’s an amazing place. Plenty of tables to sit with your pet. They have a game table for customers to enjoy. Beautifully done!

We love the sister store (Smokey Mountain Dog Bakery) right next door. I’ve been a huge fan of their clothing and their treats for yrs! I can tell u we have shopped and traveled cross country and never found a pup store that compares (that includes Sedona). Now they have expanded and have the awesome, Smokey Mountain Dog Bar! We tried it out on a Sunday afternoon in late Jan! It was just myself and my two pups! The two gentleman working were excellent! They watched my pups while I ran to the restroom! They played with the pups and catered to the pups and made me a coffee type adult beverage. We are having my Bostons 2nd bday party here in June and Julie (the owner) helped get the cake ordered and told us what all we can bring. We made sure to ask how many staff were working to include them! It was such a fun experience for people that love dogs! My two, Febie and Finnick are my very best friends! I highly recommend the Smokey Mountain Dog Bar as well as the bakery next door! They also have a pet friendly rental in downtown Waynesville which we hope to try on another trip! Definitely support Julie and these small businesses! Thank you Julie for hiring such an amazing staff!

My husband, myself, & our two dogs, Cooper & Cora, visited twice during our short anniversary stay due to the amazing atmosphere, staff, & affordability!
During each visit, our dogs were welcomed with pup cups, treats, & pets. Also, the staff even made a drink upon my request, which I like to refer to as the Muddy Paw Martini. We felt so at home here.

I absolutely love this little place! My sister and I like to meet up here and have a drink periodically with my nephew (shown enjoying some doggie ice cream). The house drinks are great with cute themed names and the atmosphere is cozy and chill. They also carry some local brews and blends! Their food offerings are limited, understandably, but for a quick bar food, it works! The staff has always been sweet and know my nephew by name! Great place to sit down, hang out a while, and enjoy a drink and some puppy company. ♡♡♡

Great place! They know how to treat both people and dogs so well. A very polite waiter came over right as we sat down and asked if my dog would like a complimentary pup-cup (his favorite food) and soon enthusiastically returned with the dish. This was in addition to the large number of dog treats already placed on the table. You can tell the staff there truly loves their work.
On the human side of service, the food was good and the prices were very reasonable. As for the drinks I stuck with a peach soda from a local manufacturer ( Waynesville soda jerks I believe) and it was delicious. Met a very friendly couple who I had conversation with throughout the meal, who both had cocktails and seemed to enjoy the experience as well.
TLDR: kind and friendly patrons and staff, great products and fair pricing leads to an all out fantastic experience.

This place is awesome for dog lovers. Great bar, great service, ample room for lots of dog families. Staff is attentive and rules prevent unwanted dog/dog interactions but allow desired socializing. Only draw back is local ordinances that won’t allow them to serve food for humans but their dog snacks, and the dog bakery retail products are top notch.
Bring in your own human food from home or one of the nearby restaurants and have a great outing for the entire family, you’ll love the dog inspired decor!

Me and my husband brought our Australian shepherd with us and had an amazing time! The service was beyond compare, our dog loved their treats and was at ease here! The staff was so friendly and it truly made our entire experience.
