Go and try the seafood bisque. I don’t usually like seafood bisque, but this one blew my mind. It was full of seafood, literally, full of seafood. This almost never happens. I also ordered the Louisiana fried oysters and they were delicious as well. The oyster was about half the size of my palm. My friend ordered the stuffed shrimp and she enjoyed her meal as well.

Excellent service. The fried gator is some of the best I’ve had. Very good Catfish Blackjack. Combine that with an interesting atmosphere filled with golden flying pigs and you have a great place to eat. Love it!

I had the Cajun Seafood Gumbo, Crawfish Etouffee and the twice baked cheesecake and EVERYTHING was AMAZING!!!
I have never even seen twice baked cheesecake on any menus and now I ask myself why would you have it any other way.
All of the servers looked to be professional but if your lucky enough to get April with her southern sweet personality you’ll think 20% tip isn’t nearly enough.

We weren’t sure what to expect.. Upon entering the quaint building – a wonderful aroma greeted us! Although there were probably 15-20 tables with other diners – the relaxing music kept each tables din quite low. The service was very prompt and capable. Freshly baked hot rolls accompanied our water. It was just my husband and I. We received our salads – good portuon size and fresh! We shared the fried gator appetizer and he had the seafood platter with fries and I had the shrimp and shrimp with garlic mash. The mash was amazing! We thought we were really hungry when we got there – but after eating until we were stuffed – we had to-go portions that made it look like we hadn’t eaten yet! Great food that is moderately priced. Well worth it!

1/9/2019 edit: They might be closed for good unfortunately. Sign on the door at lunch time on a Wednesday said closed and it looked dark and undecorated inside.
Original review: It’s a little bit on the expensive side, but the food is incredible. Good atmosphere, plenty of seating in the restaurant. I had a shrimp po-boy, which was good. Someone else had the Étouffée, which looked incredible – that’s what I’ll get next time.

The food was good. The waitress was friendly and offered good choices. The shining star of the meal was the dessert of bread pudding. I’m not a bread pudding person, so I was skeptical. I would go back just for the bread pudding. My husband loved his meal of fried shrimp, oysters, and gator bites, but he loved the dessert, too.

Greeted and seated upon arrival, waitress was nice and friendly. Drinks were ordered but took a little long to get there. My drink was not what I ordered, and my food was not good. The prices and service aren’t the problem it’s the quality of the food. Green beans with bacon were drowning in grease, Mac and cheese had way to much cheese, fish and hush puppies were over fried, and the alligator bites were under cooked. My husband ordered a appetizer and was not pleased, we paid but left disappointed. We expected better from a long time local business.
