What an unbelievable culinary experience! Everything we had was just excellent. Fried alligator, crab cakes, fried oyster salad and dessert oh my! We’ll definitely be seeing y’all again

The food here is amazing as you look out over the river. I had yhe chicken florentine and it was amazing. All their ingredients fresh and I could taste it in the chicken, spinach, cream sauce. The squash was cooked so you could still taste the aweetnes of the vegetable and the potatoes had fresh herbs that brought the entire meal together. You would pay $20 – $30 for this meal, easily, in a larger city.

Was visiting my sister, when she took me to lunch at Satterfield’s. The food was good, we both ordered a couple of Bloody Marys, also good. But it was the view that stole the show! It overlooks False River.
The price isn’t bad either. $$

This was delicious and the view was quite nice! We came on Sunday around 11:30am. Ordered the Trio Appetizer, which had fried pickles, mushrooms, and eggplant. It was good, and could not finish the huge portion. I ordered the Roast Beef PO-boy and it was messily scrumptious! My BF got the combo shrimp and oyster PO-boy. He preferred the shrimp over the oysters and really like the red beans and rice. I’m happy we went put of our way to give Satterfield’s a try.

View is gorgeous, but the food left a lot to be desired. Nothing really fancy or brag worthy on the menu that was speaking to me to order and the waitress was new so she had no recommendations. Good if you’re in a pinch and want the view, but maybe stick with just drinks.

The service was horrible! We got seated fairly quickly. The server seemed as though she had too many customers to handle. Took a while to get our drinks. We were served no bread until we asked for it. Appetizers took to long to come out. The food took an ETERNITY to come out. By the time our food was served ( almost an hour later) we had already drank several glasses of tea, (which by the way, we had to ask for) and were full. Food came out cold and my husband’s baked potato was still cold, hard and crunchy. Would never return here!! Save your money and go elsewhere!

Comfortable dining environment, attentive staff, food was good and plentiful. My party had poboys, salads, and fried fish. All prepared to order. Grilled chicken pasta salad was best thing we ordered.

Valentine’s dinner with friends left us a little disappointed. No waiting for a table. That was excellent. Waitress was very young and didn’t know too much but tried very hard. Didn’t have the wine we wanted from their wine list, ran out of steaks, never heard of roumalade sauce, prices steep. Overall a good experience but did not live up to the hype and were not ready for the Valentine’s Day crowd.
