Delicious, affordable, and one of the most interesting things to happen to this town’s food palate in a long while.
I got shrimp vindaloo, which is probably the spiciest thing on the menu. If you’ve never had indian food before, try the butter chicken or tikka masala to start.

Omg, a delicious Indian restaurant is finally here in Bogalusa!
Being able to drive 10 minutes versus across the lake for great Indian cuisine is awesome!
Everything on the buffet was flavorful, hot, and appealing to the eye, the service was exceptional, and they were grateful and generous with their service to us.
When owners care enough about their business to touch tables and ensure a great experience, that’s major bonus points from me!
Great food, great atmosphere, great service….we’ll be back soon!

Absolutely incredible food, atmosphere, and staff! This is truly a hidden gem in Bogalusa. Although we arrived somewhat late, we were greeted with friendly smiles and kindness throughout our whole dining experience. The food was amazing with bold flavors and freshness. We will certainly be back, and recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a unique experience.

This was a very good choice for lunch! The buffet is delicious and allows you to try a good variety of Indian cuisine. We talked to the owner and discovered that the 2 chefs have a culinary degree from their hometown in India, so you can rest assured it is authentic! They toned down the spice, but you can always request their special in-house hot sauce if you need an extra zip! Overall, tasty and very accommodating! We were even brought a fresh bowl of rice just because, and more naan bread, even though the buffet was closed by that time. So take the time to stop by Joshi’s! You won’t regret it!

The food here is delicious! It’s all very well balanced and they are very accommodating if you communicate your desires and tell them if you prefer more or less spice. The family/staff are extremely friendly and welcoming! The space has very high ceilings, spacious booths and plenty of elbow room!

Who would have thought there would be a great Indian Restaurant in Bogalusa? We decided to try it and were not disappointed. We got the buffet so we could sample many of the dished they offer. Everything, literally everything was amazing. We’ll definitely be back. The Joshis are very friendly and helpful. Give it a try!!

Driving away currently & resisting the urge to curl up, nap while enjoying the sunshine & a very satiated & full belly! It was hard to resist piling mountains of deliciousness on my plate each trip! Lamb curry was divine, also thoroughly enjoyed butter chicken, spinach daal & naan, fried onions fritters & potato slices were deviantly delicious! & Warm Indian rice pudding kheer for dessert. This Kat wants to curl up like a kitten with joy & happiness that amazing food & exceptional friendly service bring. With warmth in my body & heart, if you enjoy Indian food, I highly recommend eating at Joshi!

Even if you’re hesitant about trying a new cuisine, you should try it. If you’re unsure what to get then get the butter chicken, or Tikka masala if you’re after a little more heat. You won’t regret it.
