I don’t know how anyone could leave this place a bad review. The food was Amazing. They actually have healthy eating along side their amazing fried chicken strips. I’ll say the fried chicken strip is the best I’ve ever had anywhere.

Wrap was dry/salty and heavily breaded. There was no hot/honey sauce just over breading with tortilla stuffed with cheese. The fries were decent however on the burnt side

Nashville Hot Sandwhich didn’t have really any flavor. The fries were really good. As was house made ranch. Came for the chicken salad which is also pretty good. I feel like the tenders are pretty standard but not bad. Mac and Cheese was nostalgicly good.

I had the smashburger. It was average. The buffalo chicken dip was absolutely horrible. It had a big chicken bone in that my GF almost choked on. We’ll never eat there again. The atmosphere was nice and the service was good. The food left a lot to be desired.

Crafts Chicken on Church St in Birmingham, AL delivers a mouthwatering experience that’s sure to satisfy even the most discerning of chicken lovers. Located on the bustling Church St, this cozy eatery boasts a menu filled with delicious, Southern-inspired dishes that will leave you craving more.

From the moment you walk in, the aroma of freshly fried chicken fills the air, setting the stage for a truly indulgent dining experience.

The star of the show at Crafts Chicken is undoubtedly the chicken itself. Whether you prefer it fried to crispy perfection or grilled to juicy tenderness, you’re in for a treat. Each piece of chicken is seasoned to perfection and cooked to order, ensuring that every bite is bursting with flavor.

But the goodness doesn’t stop there. Crafts Chicken also offers a variety of mouthwatering sides and accompaniments to complete your meal. From creamy mac and cheese to buttery biscuits, there’s something on the menu to please every palate.

Crafts is so good and a such a family pleaser with my children and grandchildren. The manager of Crafts is so kind and makes sure that your order is correct and that you are well taken care of. Thanks to Crafts in Crestline, we had a great family dinner and enjoyed it so much .

Ladies in the front were quite friendly. But here’s the problem. Went in around 2:30 p.m. and got food that was left over from lunch. Without a doubt. Chicken fingers with hard breading. Old mashed potatoes. A crunchy biscuit I could have chipped a tooth on. Old, cold fried okra. Got it to go and, my fault, I didn’t check my order until I got home less than 5 minutes later. What’s this about? Is this normal for this place? I should’ve known better because I saw a gigantic pile of chicken fingers sitting out in the warming station in the open…left over from lunch. So you just over cook and serve that until it runs out? But my wife had a medical procedure done and that’s what she wanted. Here’s the deal…If you’re just going to cook a bunch of food and then serve that to customers regardless of the degradation of quality and taste then you’re going to lose every first time customer that ever eats there. First and last time for me.

We stopped by for dinner on our way through Birmingham and enjoyed our visit. Nice neighborhood atmosphere, good selection, comfortable dining.

I had the Hot Dot (spicy fried chicken sandwich) and collard greens, and my dining partner had the Chicken Bites.

The spicy chicken sandwich was deliciously spicy and sweet! It, however, was lukewarm.

The collard greens, also lukewarm, were a little bland but maybe fine for some peoples’ tastes — a little salt went a long way, a little vinegar would have sealed the deal, also.

The chicken bites were served to us room temperature but were otherwise tender and enjoyable. They really are fairly plain in taste by themselves, but that gives you an opportunity to try their sauces – the honey mustard is a great compliment!

I would go back for sure. Regarding the temperatures, I am hoping we only caught them in an off moment about 45 minutes before closing.

Craft’s on Church Street in Mountain Brook is a standout destination for anyone craving classic Southern comfort food with a modern twist. From the moment you walk in, the warm, inviting atmosphere makes you feel right at home, whether you’re visiting with family, friends, or just stopping by for a quick bite. The menu is packed with flavorful options, but the fried chicken truly steals the show. The Hot Dot sandwich, with its perfectly crispy chicken, tangy pickles, and creamy ranch on a soft bun, is a must-try, while the sides—creamy mac and cheese, fresh collard greens, and zesty Greek slaw—complement every dish beautifully.
