The Golden Q Sports Bar is a great place to catch a game and enjoy a good meal with the family. The food was delicious, the service was friendly and efficient, and the beer was ice cold – just how I like it. I especially enjoyed the unique touch of the jalapeno ketchup on the tables. It added a nice kick to my burger! The kids had a blast playing the games, which kept them entertained while we enjoyed the game. Overall, a great experience and we’ll definitely be back.

We ordered a well done burger and it was far from well done. This was the second time it happened. We ordered carry out so guess they don’t care to cook your food properly. We will never order food again. Too pricey for food you can’t eat.

Stopped for lunch. They were very busy and it took a bit before we could order but they handled it like champs. Our food came out to our table hot and fresh and in a reasonable amount of time. The place was rather cold inside which made it a bit uncomfortable but maybe that way by des6so that they can turn tables quicker. Food is always good here, service is usually spot on, and the restaurant is clean. Bathrooms need help

Food was fine, but the guy behind the counter taking orders yesterday evening was clearly not happy to be there. I ordered a drink & he scoffed at me, stating he’d throw my ID away. He seemed annoyed & very impatient the whole time we ordered (we have a big family). The lady who took plates away was really nice though.

I haven’t been to Hays in maybe 8 years. I came back for a visit and the first thing I did was get a burger from the Q. Nothing seems to have changed but the staff, and that’s no bad thing. Still one of the best burgers you can get, promt service, and good beer.

Great hamburger variety. Has a montly special,which I got this time, ( it was a stroganoff burger) ! Soooo good. But will replaced the 1st of the month. I got the crab Rangoon burger last time which is on the permanent menu and an excellent choice. Big burgers cooked to perfection and paired with the proper bun. The picture shows the stroganoff topping on the burger. Wouldn’t want to eat it while driving though.

Served the wrong meal. They brought back my side and let it sit to get cold while fixing the burger. Also asked if I touched the previous burger. That is an unnecessary question. If it hits the table, it goes in the trash. Ill never spend money there again. Also 3 people 71$. Not worth it at all, burger was past dry.

The Golden Q is a very fun place to get a good burger and have some drinks. Lots of unique burger options and large selection of beers. Large heaters outside on the patio. All of the staff were friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable.

Ridiculously over priced. Cheeseburger and onion rings for $20 and then you have to pay for ranch. It doesn’t even come with them. Took 45 minutes to get our food, the people we were with were done eating by the time our food arrived.
