The food was very tasty. The dressing was really good, the green beans were delicious, oh…the mac and cheese was very good..everything that my family and I had was perfect. Kiddos to the cook!!! Keep him around as long as you guys can! They have a variety of good choices on their menu. My family and I drove over 2 hours away, from Georgia, and we were happy that we stopped here. Best place in town!

Okay, breakfast starts very early//they make an immediate switch to lunch at 11 am. Oh yeah, you can get it to go, B.U.T. – if you are dead serious about your true & valid Americana Southern Southeastern experience….you eat here. And have fun, the regulars do.

Rustic setting. Older inside, needs a paint job and a bit more organization. I didn’t like getting my toast after staff had dirty cloth in her hand. Food was good. Eggs and grits not hard to mess up. Staff was nice and fast. No wait and good parking

Not my cup of tea. Very much old school and not necessarily in a good way. Not sure they used hard shell eggs for my order, but kinda looked like they didn’t. Pancakes were very much basic store bought batter type pancakes and they weren’t willing to substitute my protein for hash browns. Syrup was literally a bottle of Mrs. Butterworth, or whatever it’s called, and it was room-temp and quite disgusting. Never was addressed by my server after she dropped off my food.
Only reason for 2 stars is cause it was kinda cheap. Only paid $7.01 for this and I would not return to this place.

This place offers very southern country style classic meal. We ordered breakfast. The omelet with philly steak had good moisture, soft and smooth. Grits were cooked well and very delicious. Beverage was included. Restaurant ambient atmosphere is retro style. We enjoyed.

Drive on by as many waffle houses as you have to to get here. The coffee is hot, the people are nice, and the food is cooked with care. I had a delicious breakfast. Friendly, clean, cosy, easy parking, inexpensive, and authentic. This is the place your Grandpa used to love. Skip the chains and get real.

My husband and I ate here while in Columbia for the day, food was good, no complaints, I got a hamburger plate and my husband got a meat & 3, not alot of people but it was around 11am so a little early for lunch, the workers were very friendly, building was older but it was clean. I would definitely eat there again

1st and last time we come here to eat. Some of the food was good(chicken) but some was definitely not(hamburger)… it tasted almost ruined. When I got my drink, there was some black stuff on it. Waitress was super nice. One of the people(male) cooking was going back and forth between cooking and messing with the money at the register. And the restaurant could use a bit of cleaning.
