Saw a pic online of an amazing looking cheesesteak so I took the drive to find out. The sauce is amazing, there is plenty of meat and cheese, and the boneless wings are pretty good as well. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a damn good cheesesteak or chicken cheesesteak.

This small shop on Main Street in Moorestown seems to be more of a takeout favorite than an eat-in spot. I watched several people pick up orders while I was there, but nobody else ate in-house.
It was fairly busy, so it took 20 min for my order of the Batman & Robin and Cooper Sharp cheese fries to be ready. That plus a bottle of water totaled $30. And I paid cash, which saves you 4%.
The Batman & Robin was good and unique, but was it in my top 10 cheesesteaks? No. The fries were overly salted in some areas and had no salt in others. They did not skimp on the cheese.
My honest opinion? If I’m going to spend that much on a cheesesteak, I’ll go to Lillo’s, which is better in quality, quantity and ratio of meat/cheese, and taste. (Unfortunately, Lillo’s has limited hours.)
This place is most popular/famous for its wings, though. I would give them another try with an order of wings.
Tip: Paying cash saves you 4%.

Split a few steaks with friends. On advice of the staff we tried the batman & robin – totally worth it. A mix of chicken & steak, sauced with a touch of heat. We ordered take out & it held up well for when we ate it back home. Saw a few dine in customers eating wings, looked really good – we’ll have to get those next time!

Ordered here for the first time off Doordash today and the food was so, so bad. Burger, advertised as having toppings and sauce on a grilled bun, came with no toppings, no sauce, a soggy bun, and the driest burger patty known to man. Thought the chicken tenders would be good based on how they looked, and then pulled one open and saw it was slimy. Inedible. The only thing decent was the fries. Waste of money, and the items weren’t cheap.

I was excited to try Cockadoodle Dan’s, but it turned out to be a Cockadoodle Dud. Took my daughter, nephew to try what was rumored to be one of the best upcoming cheesesteak spots and was disappointed.
1. Ordered a few minutes before 6, didn’t receive my food until 6:46 and that was only after I went up and asked when it would be ready. The cheese fries and wings I ordered were still not ready and would not be brought out for another 10 minutes.
2. The cheesesteak was average. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not bad, but nothing to go out of your way for. Not enough meat, Cooper Sharp on a Deluca roll without good seasoning
3. The wings were small, and by no means did it make it up in quality. We tried the buffalo garlic bonded boned wings and the sauce wasn’t incredibly tasteful.
4. The fries were good though, satisfying to a toddler who waited to long and enjoyable by all but not worth the wait.
5. The atmosphere is bland, rickety tables, and tvs with nothing on but an alternating wallpaper.
6. The value, $60ish for everything I have pictured below plus 3 sodas. 2 Cheesesteaks, Wings, Fries. Completely lacking in value.
7. The staff didn’t seem very in touch with the situation, not even a “Oh sorry about the wait”.
If you’re gonna go to Cockadoodle Dan’s, Cockadoodle Don’t. It’s not worth going out of your way for.

Got a classic cheesesteak with cooper sharp and mustard today. I had to take a bite before giving my review. I honestly enjoyed my cheesesteak! Cheesesteak cooked right so I have no complaints. Portion size was good too. My cheesesteak was about $18 after taxes

I ordered takeout on a beautiful Monday afternoon. No issues with my order in regards to correct order and pick up time. I ordered the Main Chicken sandwich with fries and coleslaw. I enjoyed the fries much better than the chicken sandwich. Fries had the right amount of salt and crispness for crinkle cut fries. I usually finish my food but decided not to finish the sandwich. It lacked flavor from both the breading and sauce (Cluck). However, I’ll come back to try wings and cheesesteaks.

Food was absolutely out of this world I used to live in Jersey and I now live in Florida and definitely when I go back there will be the first stop for a cheesesteak because it was absolutely perfect. I liked Cockadoodle Dans, but took a break because of the small wing sizes. I saw it was posted on their social media they changed wing vendors to address the size of their wings, as many people complained, and felt I would give it another chance. Today, I ordered a 7 count wing from doordash and paid around $18 total for everything…only to be disappointed when my wings arrived. The size of the wings were back to being tiny with barely any meat on them. They were not worth the price of $10, especially when the amount of meat total across the 7 wings would equal to 2 wings that were normal size. I enjoyed their wings before but if this is going to be the size of the wings, I won’t be ordering again in the future.

There is no ambiance to this place at all. A few cheap tables that wobble, 4 tv’s and plain white walls. Mid afternoon on a weekend while the NFL playoffs are taking place and the restaurant is empty and only 3 people came in for pickup orders. Doesn’t seem to be professionally run, all employees were kids. The cheesesteak was big, maybe too big, lacked any flavor and leaked water/meat juice when it was picked up.. Only a few options for bottled soda and they don’t even have a fountain soda machine. It seems like this place operates on a shoestring and unfortunately probably won’t be around too long, unless they accept constructive criticism. Moorestown’s Main St needs additional foot traffic, but this place isn’t able to contribute.
