I ordered a shrimp tempura roll and a California roll to go. They did not give me the tempura roll they gave me pieces of tempura…. Even double checked my recipet and it was for the roll. The California roll was just ok.

Very kind people run this small business. The sushi menu is diverse and innovative. Some combinations I’ve never seen before and many cooked options. Asian menu includes noodle and rice dishes. All very fresh and well executed.

The proportions in the rolls of ‘crunch’ to protein/veg is not even. A lot of rice on the outsides, made it be square not round. The egg roles were very soggy, not crisp. Eel sauce was even watery, usually its really thick. Not sure what’s up with this place but we won’t be back. Really wanted to like it but it was a disappointment.

Mostly I was disappointed with the clear soup. It tasted like soy sauce water. it had a strong soy sauce flavor. And I thought it would be more like a broth. The tuna sushi was ok.
As for the restaurant as soon as you walk in the air is warm and stale. Smelled like food in a not pleasant way…looks like they need to just wipe everything Down a bit too. Not too bad, but noticeable.

I’ve been meaning to try this place out for a while since I needed a change in pace with sushi places I’ve been eating at! I ordered the Big Boss and Alaska which are pretty good.
The Big Boss could have used a bit more shrimp or squid in the mix that goes on top of the rolls but for the price it’s a lot of food. The Alaska was very good but they added way more cucumber than I liked. The rolls could have been cut more evenly since some piece had more rice than others however, I don’t mind.
The delivery was fast and I was quite full for a while! Would eat again to try different rolls! 🙂

Love this place. Stopped here for lunch and the service was excellent. Owners were very polite and my sushi roll (sweet heart roll) was amazing and came out really quick. Restaurant was very clean and so were the bathrooms. Prices were reasonable for a sushi place.
