The sliced pork “bbq” is about a quarter inch, without evidence of actual smoke touching it (no smoke ring AT ALL), reheated on a griddle, tastes like thawed leftover baked Thanksgiving turkey. This is by far the WORST excuse for NC BBQ.
The pinto beans are only seasoned with salt, the green beans are unseasoned and straight from the can.
Nice people and I’m sure this place was once great before it entered a strip mall.
No music and the fluorescent lights blind you’re already neglected taste buds.

Today was beyond great had to call the manager to let him know who ever was cooking and frying today (3/7/26) was amazing the best fries ive had in a long time from any restaurant asked for them crispy and they were perfect the wings were sauced up and nice and hot great flavor now I’ll expect this every time I eat here they must have the A+ team working saturdays I eat here at least 2xs a month but today has set the standard

Food was very good. Nothing was heavy smoked. Every thing was tender. Pork and chicken were pretty neutral so you can flavor with your favorite sauce. I tried all 3 sauces. They were all excellent. The 2 vinegar sauces were good with pork. The more ketchup based was probably the best it went well on the ribs and chicken. The beans were good. Adding a little bit of the thick sauce made them great. My son loved the Mac.

Dropped in to check out this Hole In The Wall BBQ restaurant. Seat yourself says the sign, so I did. I was promptly waited on and the food to table time was not long. The salad was very good. I ordered the Combo plate. The ribs were good but not a lot of meat on them. I couldn’t taste any smoked flavor in the pork. The Baked beans and okra were good. The chicken was very good and very tender. The sauce they brought from the kitchen was delicious. I ordered peach cobbler as well with ice cream. The peaches in the cobbler were excellent. Like fresh picked and not cooked to death. I would return here to sample some brisket next time. Hopefully they smoke the pork longer.

pretty poor bbq in the middle of great bbq country. nothing is great, most of the flavors are below average. absolutely no bark on the pulled pork. the sauce seemed to be commercial. the beans felt canned.
saw the owner response…. it’s really simple. I was looking for “good” bbq, something that has bark. (look at the pics, no bark, no smoke flavor at all). I was hoping for homemade flavors. As I stated, the beans and the sauce seemed commercial, the best item I ate was the hush puppies…. I would try a different restaurant next time!

Waitress was great. The food was decent. I eaten at other Hannah’s locations and have been very pleased. Ordered the Brisket that was covered in some sugary ketchup textured bbq sauce. It was more like beef bacon strips and not a brisket. Not sure why they cover it when there are better sauces on the tables.

Very dissappointed in quality of BBQ. Ordered brisket sandwich and I think they gave me pulled pork. It was tasteless and very small for $9.

Grilled chicken sandwich was half the size it use to be, tiny piece of lettuce an tomatoe. Of course still same price. Not worth it, it’s as small as $1.99 chic sandwich at Wendy’s, which is where I’ll go.
