The jerk wings and Curry goat were excellent. Unfortunately was not a fan of the Mac and cheese or collard greens. My boyfriend was not a fan of the plantains but I liked them the texture was different than I was used to but they tasted good

I got the jerk chicken with Mac and Cheese and collared greens for my sides. The chicken fell off the bone and was so tender and juicy. This was my second time coming to Jamaican Soul, and they have not disappointed at all. The staff is super friendly and always ready to answer any questions you have. I recommend this place if you are looking for some good soul food that hits the spot.

Very delicious, I ALWAYS call ahead because they stay busy.. They are always friendly.

Prices have increased and so has everything else in the world so I can’t be upset. They have to make a profit too.

I ordered the Stew beef, Mac and cheese , cabbage, and coco bread (just to try)

The stew beef was tender, mac and cheese never disappoints , and the corn bread always sweet, cabbage has a sweet taste and it has a crunch to it.. the coco bread just reminds me of a dinner roll not what I was expecting.

The oxtail, corn bread and rice was good but the college greens was watery with no seasoning and the priceI was kind of upsetting a 15 mins drive to taste the greens. Place was clean and the people was nice.

Best Jamican food I’ve had in Savannah so far. I had a small jerk chicken with mac and cheese and my company had small curry goat and small oxtail. Overall the food was okay. The jerk chicken was a little too saucy for my personal taste but good. The mac and cheese was delicious, standard southern mac and cheese. According to my friends the curry goat needed a little more pepper and the oxtail had a weird texture and color. Serving sizes are very large, a small can serve for both lunch and dinner. In my opinion this didn’t taste like the authentic Jamaican food I’m used to, but more a mix of Jamaican and Southern cuisine, which is a decent substitute.

The overall vibe of the restaurant was AMAZING though. We called close to closing time and the lady on the other end of the line was very cheerful, saying she would stay to serve us even if we arrived too late. The outside is not that appealing but the inside has a beautiful mural and paintings. We did not order ahead but we still received our food very quickly.

I am so excited to give a review for this new restaurant!!! So I have not had great Jamaican food in a long time. I lived in DC for a long time before coming to Savannah. Which certainly doesn’t make me an expert, but I think I’ve had some pretty good Jamaican food. And this is some of the best I have ever had. I had the jerk chicken.. bomb! I did try some of the curry chicken as well. Bomb! The homemade fruit punch is amazing as well. I plan to go back often. It is a carryout, so don’t necessarily make plans to eat there if you have a large party. But there are about 4 or 5 small table to sit down if you want. Can’t wait to try everything on the menu!! Do yourself a favor and please go try this restaurant. The people were really nice! And I’m seeing that some people had some bad experiences with customer service. So maybe it just depends on the day. I went on a Saturday around 2pm or so.

The food here is really amazing. He variety is great. If you swing by you definitely will leave with a slice of red velvet or key lime cake. Their pastries freshly done are amazing. I’m in love with the pound cake. Impeccable customer service.

The ppl were nice but the food was not good at all. The collard greens were nasty no taste with too many stems in them, the yellow rice was just yellow that’s it no taste just like white rice. The mac and cheese was just okay but barely had taste either. Not worth the money spent

Hands down my favorite spot to eat, I’ve been going here for about 4 years! The turkey wings, curry goat, curry shrimp, cabbage and carrots, rice and peas, and Mac and cheese are mouthwatering! I have not met one menu item I didn’t like ☺️, family oriented environment with friendly faces to greet and provide quick service. Can’t beat the affordable prices either!

My Go-To Jamaican spot. I LOVE IT ! The plates are always full and presented very neatly. They aren’t stingy! Meaning it’s always more than enough food for now and later. You really get what you deserve here. From the flavors, to the presentation, to the customer service, down to the desserts, they NAIL it ! It’s the red velvet cake for me!! It is to die for!! Literally THE best red velvet cake I have had in my life! No exaggeration. Thank me later ! Ms. Kelly (The Owner) is amazing ! Thank you again Ms. Kelly!
