The atmosphere is gorgeous and the food is phenomenal. My mother, my two daughters, and I eat there somewhat regularly and always have a wonderful experience. I will say the location is not the greatest and at our last visit there was a woman being led out by police officers in handcuffs which by no means does that reflect poorly on the staff and absolutely is not the norm. When I say location isn’t the greatest, I don’t want to give the wrong impression. This is a relatively low crime city, but it is located in a part of town that is close to where there are higher than normal illegal activities in comparison to other areas of the city. The restaurant itself and the immediate surrounding area are quiet and safe. The service is usually a bit slow but that’s ok atleast for us because we go to enjoy a good time, having good food in a great atmosphere with family and I must say, I have never tried anything I did not absolutely love there and the place is warm and classy. Try the egg rolls are the BEST in town!

We absolutely love this place. The foos is amazing. Other reviews say it is bland….NO! Everything we ordered was full of flavor. Egg Rolls are to die for. Shrimp Toast was very good. Loved the House Chicken and Wonton Soup. Volcano Drink was really good. Prices might seem high but you get a huge portion. Our service was not slow like other reviews mentioned.

Service is slow on a busy night but who cares the food is like so on point! I ordered Robert Hale Shrimp Noodles or something which wasn’t spicy at all to me. I ate it all!! I also ordered 6 eggrolls and fried rice to go bc the eggrolls are the best in all Lake Charles! Plus they have a mini bar with variety of drinks!

No stars for this one! Placed an order for egg rolls, a hot and sour soup, a wonton soup, shrimp fried rice and a lunch plate. Paid $40 plus got home and there was no lunch plate included in the bags. Called the restaurant was told they closed a minute ago, they could not refund the cost of my missing lunch plate to the debit card I used to pay for the food. Options given I could pick up the food after 5:00 when they reopened or I could call my bank. This is the worst experiences I’ve had at a restaurant. I can pay with my debit card but you can’t refund what you didn’t give me and I have to wait 3 hours to get the food. I will not give my business to this company again. While I never truly believed in the saying “the customer is always right” this is one instance I believe wholeheartedly the customer is right. To tell me you cannot refund the cost of the food you did not provide and will not provide for 3 plus hours but you get to have my money in your bank account is nuts. I wonder could I go in there and eat and tell them I’ll be back in 3 hours to pay my bill? I’m sure they would not agree to it. So why is it okay for the business to have different standards? Management does not want to take the time to correct their error and they obviously have no problem inconveniencing the customer. They take no accountability for their actions or lack of actions or ability to make things right in a timely fashion. The professional thing to do would be to refund the cost of the food that was not provided or, pay for Uber or send somebody over with the lunch instead of having to wait 3 plus hours! Terrible business practice terrible customer service I am one disgusted customer or shall I say former customer.
