If you are looking for tamales, look elsewhere. Here you will get refrigerated tamales, green or red. Once you get home and heat them up you will find they lack flavor, size, overall quality and you can only buy by the half dozen. The staff is welcoming and helpful.

It’s not a fancy sit down type of place. The tosatadas I ordered hit the spot. They were exactly what I wanted no rice or beans. The chicken was moist and had good flavor. I have also ordered the Tampiquena steak. Please keep in mind it’s a small local run restaurant not a steak house. The plate was flavorful, the aguacate perfect not brown.

Authentic Mexican food. Great for breakfast, too. Check the Mexican products they have on the shelves or the counter. Plenty of good stuff

My family has been purchasing barbacoa and salsa roja from this establishment for years and we’ve had a couple of times now that the barbacoa is very fatty, dry, and bland. The salsa roja has not been great either, it used to be very spicy and flavorful but now it’s just watered down tomato juice. Do not recommend.
