Long line but it was worth the wait. We ate our dinner outside on the clean patio. We tried lots of different things. The crab patty in the crab sandwich was phenomenal. Thick, juicy and tasty. Devil crabs were good but the fried devil crab were great. Fish and shrimp were flavorful, juicy inside and crispy outside. Sweet potato jack was amazing. Apple jack was ok, its minced texture was not received well by the family. Chocolate cake was fine.

I went late right before closing, and he still took me. The food was hot and fresh and everything was seasoned perfectly. They have a nice outdoor seating area. Seating on the inside and parking is limited.

You know how folks say you get what you pay for. We placed an order today for the first time. Eleven dollars was a lot for large fried crabs.BUT BABY, it was worth every penny. It was full of meat, and it was a large crab and was cooked to perfection. The shrimp dinner was awesome, too. Keep up the good work, Billy….

Omg, the food was amazing! This was my first time. I was straight off the road from Atlanta and stopped here to try. I had the fried crabs, crab cake, collards and the Mac and cheese. I took a picture of the crab cakes but my mom started eating the rest so I didn’t get a pic. The customer service is top notch. You gotta try it! You will not be disappointed.

I really had high hopes for this locally owned business. The gentleman was very friendly. I got the flounder and the whiting. Flounder was dry and got home there wasn’t any tartar sauce or any condiments in the bag. The whiting was just okay. And then I thought I’d try the fried crab as I’d never seen or heard of that. Sadly I didn’t see the point. It’s just batter you get your hands dirty with while you try to break open the crab and still have to pick to get the meat (I didn’t know if deep frying a steamed crab would make the shell softer, it did not).

My first time, I ordered the fish dinner. If you are looking for baked or broil food this is not the spot only Fried foods. The fish I can say was seasoned very well. I occasionally eat fried foods, this was not bad. The sweet potato jack was very moist I guess you could say, I tried to put it in the air fryer at home and it didn’t get to crunchy, it satisfied my sweet tooth but im not a fan.

I wasn’t sure what to expect from this place, but based on the reviews, it seemed like a good spot to try. I was a bit skeptical at first because of the prices, but once it was all said and done, you definitely paid for what you got. I had the fish and shrimp combo and everything about it was tasty! My partner had the chicken and fish combo and he enjoyed it. The truth of the matter is this restaurant hit the spot and I’ll definitely be returning again for another fish dinner.

1st timer with an online, pickup order! The fried fish was sooo flavorful as were the fried scallops in the dinner. I REALLY like the taste of BillyD’s coleslaw!! Also, the SWEET POTATO JACK, well I’d drive back to get that anytime, it was DELICIOUS.
Unfortunately, my deviled crabs, both original & fried had that slight smell of ammonia that make me nervous with seafood & possible spoilage, so I didn’t take a chance with those. And I love me some deviled crabs too!!!

The food was not that great. What I noticed when I first came in, was the dirty hands and nails of the cook/owner. The crab cake seemed like it was cooked well on the outside, once I got into it, it was very wet. I will say it had a lot of crab meat. It was not good. The cooking quality was not good either. I was excited to try this place, ultimately I was disappointed.

Overall I wasn’t impressed with this place. Service was extremely slow and seemed bothered to take my order, needless to say I had a bad vibe about the place before I left. The food followed up the experience with everything fried tasting the same and had a burnt taste. Sadly I didn’t get pictures but visit at your discretion.
