The food was absolutely delicious! Big portions, and I didn’t have to wait long for my food. I ordered Torta de Pollo, Azteca Tacos, Birria Taco, and a very refreshing Agua fresca. My understanding is that this restaurant is under new ownership. I met the new owner, his name is Carlos, and I also met his sister Lily they are both very nice people. I would definitely come back again, but this time to try their Menudo!

Unfortunately for this spot they are on a decline. We were the only ones there food took forever. Some of our food was burnt just ended up going in the trash. 40 bucks for a burrito, 2 tacos and potato tacos. All for it to be poor quality the lack of pricing on the sign should have been a warning of the cost ahead.

I had stopped buying my lunch there, after 2 months I decided to go back again. What I used to pay for a combo burrito was $12.50 before now after 2 months the lady charged me $21 when I asked for tomatoes and onions agua de piña no flavor she didn’t put any I guess cause she was on her cellphone most the time. I guess I will be buying my lunch down the street.

I used to go to Taco El Rey’s when they first opened because I work right next door at Walgreens, I haven’t been for a long time because they can never get my order right I decided why don’t I go try it again (WHAT A HUGE MISTAKE) I asked for a carne asada burrito light rice light beans extra carne asada and extra cheese, what I got was a burrito piled with beans and rice no meat or cheese I will never go there again.what a damn shame
