The picture is just one of the three things I ordered from here. I forgot the name, 10/10!!! The seafood boil is amazing!! My first time ever having one with a real limit on the inside of the bag.It gave it so much more extra added flavor I never knew a seafood boil could have! I also had a pound of pulled pork, which was also delicious. They give you the barbecue sauces on the side. Many different options to choose from.

I was not expecting that when I walked in. I really didn’t know what to expect. But hey, the restaurant in the atmosphere was awesome. The food was great. but the service with a smile was 100.

As a healthy minded traveler, it would be really awesome to have a half salad option with Sally Mays favorites, original Food like the crab pie or the corn bread bowl. The food was very tasty and filling. The portions were sufficient and the signature Banana Pudding was super tasty. The dining room was spacious and well thought out. We really enjoyed our meal.

Food was absolutely delicious and extremely reasonably priced. Lady at the drive through window was also extremely polite. I will definitely be returning here again.

We were passing through and stopped for breakfast. It is more of a self-service place. You order at the counter, get your own drinks, and find your own table, then clean your table when done. They did bring our food out and it was really good. It was clean and the price was affordable.

We were passing through and decided to stop here. This place is a gem don’t drive by and not stop the food and service is amazing, very well priced, and I gotta say the peach BBQ sauce was delicious. Some other highlights the corn bread, mac n cheese, Brunswick stew, crab pie were all amazing. Two bonuses its a small town family owned diner and they also have breakfast.

Great prices!
Really cute place in the middle of nowhere. The peach and mustard bbq sauces were good. Southern egg rolls with pork and greens with sweet chili sauce were our favorite.
Cornbread is dry, pork is drryyy. Cajun fries were good in the sauces.
Not sure how I feel about the crab pie. It was good but not great.
All in all a good place to stop and eat.
Looks like a local fav.

Apparently, breakfast is a new offering for this restaurant. I do not recommend breakfast there! You order at the counter and then they give you cups for your coffee. We wanted a large coffee and they were five dollars each. They gave us a glass like you would find a large soft drink. We were traveling and very ready for our 1st cup of coffee of the morning. The coffee urn produced about 1 ounce of coffee that dripped. We notified them and they said it would be about five minutes for them to brew some more. It was at least five minutes and then when we went to pour it into our cops, we could see weird little things on top of it. It wasn’t coffee grounds, I’m thinking maybe the coffee urn hadn’t been washed in a long time. We weren’t drinking it and I asked for a refund of the coffee.
The breakfast was OK, not grand but okay. We were trying to avoid a fast food breakfast, but that would have been so much better.
In some of the reviews, I saw that the place is under new ownership. Perhaps that’s the problem because overall the reviews have been good.

First off, the food tastes great. But… the quantity of food is terrible 11.00 for this is ridiculous! They don’t even give you a full piece of corn bread. Hello, this is the south! The smoked chicken quarter was smaller, then my hand looking at the size of the cornbread half and length of the green beans that shows you how little of chicken you’re getting. After voicing my concerns to the staffs attention, and while they did respond professionally. Their facial expressions showed otherwise. One young lady did offer to swap it out for a larger piece and agreed that it was very small but was advised there all the same size. By the staff in the back. Long story short, is this what you serve to the hard-working lunch crowd. Such as lineman, utility workers, landscapers, and construction workers. Fireman, law enforcement, and others for $11.00 The food was great but was still hungry when I left. Just don’t seem fair to the hard-working crowd that services the area. I only leave a review such as this one to bring awareness to the situation and hopefully bring improvements.

I saw a few questionable/scary reviews and was worried that we would be one of those exceptions (I feel like we always are) but I was pleasantly surprised! The food came quickly, was hot, and tasted GREAT! I can strongly recommend the pulled pork nachos; add some of that good ranch on top! 10/10. Service was professional but friendly/casual, everyone we spoke to was polite, and we did not feel out of place in what was obviously a local favorite. If you need a place to stop for lunch while traveling on 16… this is where it’s at! We probably won’t be back this way for a while, but next time we’re close by we will definitely stop again. (Postscript: they have the good chewy nugget ice AND high chairs with intact straps and buckle clips)
