My husband and I went to the Whiskey Barrel for our weekly date night. This was our first time there since the opening. We ordered the spinach and artichoke dip as our app. It was good. We were a little disappointed that they were out of baguette. Understandable though. For our dinner, we shared a fillet, mac and cheese, and French fries. The fillet is the best steak you’ll get south of Lincoln. Trust me, I’ve tried them all. Good char, cooked to our temp and seasoned great. The mac and cheese should be a meal option of its own. It was so thick and creamy, absolutely delicious. Fries, how can you go wrong. They had a probably 18-person group when we were in, and the service was still great. We will be back again! I’m glad to see all of the great things the new owners have done.

We were really disappointed with our visit. They were out of every steak on the menu except two, and when those finally came out, both were cooked way under what we ordered. Service was noticeably slow throughout the meal, even though the restaurant wasn’t very busy.
The Bloody Mary had an odd taste and wasn’t enjoyable, and even the Coke products tasted flat despite having carbonation. Overall, it just wasn’t the experience we were hoping for.
I’d rather go back home to indiana to eat a steak.

AMAZING FOOD with great presentation!! They seemed short staffed but the waitresses and bartender were very kind and did their absolute best! The new renovation has completely changed the atmosphere- we had a nice relaxing night with dinner and drinks. We loved it and will definitely be back!

I had a group of 14 people stop in here over the weekend. Really clean and nice and new. However the service was awful. The service staff flat out ignored us. I called ahead to let them know we was coming. We did get there sooner than expected so that caused a issue but we was willing to work with them. No one came over to take drink order. Walked by us and cleaned tables off. You can tell the don’t like outsiders. Won’t be back.

Food is excellent. Seating was half full. food was out in 15 minutes. I was ask several times how the food was. Drink was refilled at half a glass. Good job Kailyn.
