I had the turkey reuben (love the spin from corned beef to turkey) which was phenomenal. My husband had the shrimp basket and he said it was really good. The atmosphere had the vibe of a small, hometown bar and was really enjoyable. Our waiter (bless his heart as we say in the South) was the only one waiting tables and everyone was very patient and kind to him. I even help bus a couple of tables for him so people could sit down. Reminded me of my college years. Anywho…I would highly recommend checking this place out. Friendly people. Good food. Great place to just go, hang out after a day of golfing and have a few drinks. If you’re looking for a quick bite, I wouldn’t suggest eating here because as some of the reviews state it took a long time to get whatever. This isn’t FAST food. This is somewhere to go chill, have some drinks, chat it up with friends, and wait patiently on food.

We absolutely love this restaurant! It’s tiny but has some of the best fried seafood I’ve ever had–and yes, if you go at night during the summer season it will be crowded and very busy and you will likely wait and the servers will be doing all they can to accommodate the crowds (like every other restaurant around Kiawah). This is not the place to go if you want a fine dining atmosphere, but the staff has always been so pleasant and considerate and we’ve never had a negative experience here.

We love going to get a quick bite here and watch the sunset! We always get our food to go and they go sit out by the docks and enjoy the sunset. Salty Dog next door usually has live music too that you can enjoy!

We didn’t even stay to eat /order. We asked for a beer list and were told that “it’s not accurate, so pick a few backups” by a server that clearly didn’t want to be there. The atmosphere was more strip mall than marina with not a single window facing the beautiful marina. We got outta there before she brought waters (which probably they woulda been out of anyway). Yikes.

We ordered a BLT and we got a BL…. They literally forgot the tomato… after waiting 40 min for a table…. And we ordered an app that never came… and there was nowhere to change my baby’s diaper in the bathroom…. So I had to change her on the small end table in the ladies room…. And, we were getting leaked on by the pipes in the ceiling…. So we had to physically move the table itself, and our chairs, by ourselves, to get out of the splash zone…. And there was nowhere chili….

I really can’t rate Fischer’s on any of the above categories, because we were denied the chance to eat there. We tried to make a to-go order at about 7 PM tonight (6/20), but the phone number that is listed on the website was not working. There’s no way to order online, and we didn’t get any response from email or FB. We really wanted to give Fischer’s a chance, but we’ll just have to try next year.

The staff was short(1 waitress) (1 bartender/server), but both were rushed but kind and moved at respectful pace. I love ❤️ seeing that and not feeling like and outcast.
