Food was OK, drinks were great. Stopped in to catch up with some friends who I hadn’t seen in a long while and had a great time. The sampler I had was good, a friend had the pizza and wasn’t impressed with the flavor.
The location is a bit out of the way, but being on the golf course there are some nice views.

Clean, relaxing atmosphere. Friendly, efficient service. We had the hot spinach dip foran appetizer and it was very good. Could have used a few more chips. Then we had a pizza. Loved it! Great crust and just the right amount of toppings and cheese. We’ll be back.

I loved Sunday Brunch. The potatoes were amazing, they were seasoned to perfection, topped with cheese to melt, crunchy as well; the breakfast pizza was soft and delicious, the perfect amount of toppings and fresh; the scrambled eggs, ya in a pan, but they are real, they are not baked from a mix and left to stream, so great to get eggs in a buffet this way; the biscuits and gravy good, only issue was biscuits a above warmer continue to get cooked and then hard, get the right one though or new out of the kitchen, I’m sure much more amazing; they had delicious French toast, sausage and sides of pasta and Mac & cheese if with smelled delicious but i had none. The had pastries and cinnamon rolls as well. I was amazed by the quality of food I was getting on the golf course in Oskaloosa. I will definitely plan a Sunday golf and brunch again.

We have gone to On The Green quite a few times and even have brought my out of town friends. Tonight I’ve had the worst meal of my life. I’m not a chief by any means but I know what flavor is and how to cook potatoes.
I ordered the salmon and it absolutely had no flavor. For my daughter I ordered the turkey meatloaf and she refused to eat it so thinking it was her just being a kid I tried it OMG it tasted like complete dirt like I’d walked outside and grabbed a handful and ate it. I’ve had turkey hamburger that I’ve cooked and it’s never tasted like that. I tried the potatoes thinking oh yes garlic potatoes should be good. They looked not right but hey maybe it was the seasoning they used. Nope big mistake it was so thick that I probably could stop a leak with it and the best part they obviously didn’t wash the potatoes very well cause it was gritty. They need to stick with wings sandwiches and good beer and stop trying to get fancy or just down right get a new cook.
Boyfriend got the shrimp fa Diablo cause it was way way to spicy to even enjoy any of the flavors of it has any and the pepper they used way to big in sized had to chew it to get threw it.
I recommend if you go to this restaurant you go on wing night and watch the game and get drunk and stay away from anything that seems to fancy cause it’s way above their heads.

The website says open at 11, and the neon sign on their front also flashes open. Yet a sticky note on the front door says closed till 5. Maybe the business would work better if it stayed open during the business hours they set.

I came here with my friends I recommend the 50/50 burger. On The Green is a great up and coming restaurant. I would definitely come here again.
