Annie’s never fails in location/view and food is consistently solid. The issue is every time we come the service is VERY slow. It may be a staffing issue, not sure. We always expect it will be busy and will have to wait but the last couple times, it has been painfully slow in all aspects. So if you don’t mind waiting to be seated, waiting for your food, check, etc. give them a shot, still tastes pretty good.
Our group had a sampling of items, pasta, fish, hamburgers, kids meals, steak sandwiches. Everyone did enjoy their food it just took way too long. Not a good place for vegetarians per say but certainly something for most everyone.

Gaming machines crammed it front entrance before host station. Can’t hardly walk in. Salad was premade and kept in fridge too long. French onion soup was salty and bread was too soggy and cubed and I think left over bread. Fiesta poppers were hard and over cooked. Cajun pasta was horrible, sausage was rubbery and the meal tasted like soap. There was alot of it, a whole lb of pasta… but alot doesnt mean good. Waitress was nice. Left a decent tip. Wasn’t her fault food was not good.

The food at Annie’s Trading Post was absolutely delicious! Every dish I tried was a culinary delight, perfectly prepared and bursting with flavor. The staff were fantastic, and the ambiance was so welcoming. I can’t wait to come back! ✨

Good food, great service, reasonable prices. 5 star worthy except for the country music played that evening. A new favorite!

I have enjoyed my experience here at Annie’s Trading Post. Unfortunately when we got there we had to wait a while before our table was ready. I was very pleased when I found out that they served Cherry coke, not all restaurants do. Our waitress was very polite, easygoing, and took care of all of our needs. I absolutely loved the nature theme here with all the animal skins. We ordered the cheese curds as appetizers, and they were delicious! I am very pleased. Sadly they ran out of ribs which was bad news because people wanted those, but what can ya do? They did not have a gluten free pizza crust for my dad. I think they should because lots of people are allergic to gluten. The pizza was good but the crust was very thin and hard, I love a thick and soft crust. I tried the fried chicken and it was delicious. I had a great experience here, even though it had a few mishaps here and there. I will definitely be coming back.

There’s a reason why you’ll be waiting for a table. Busy place! Great old fashioneds. Excellent walleye and prime rib. Stop in and give them a try. You won’t be disappointed.

One of the very best places up here in the northwoods. The staff is awesome and the food is excellent. You might have to wait on summer nights but it’s worth the wait. Broached or grill Pork Loin is my favorite, but there are so many good options.

Outdoor dining delight! Food was the best we’ve had there, service was improved over the understaffed times before(not their fault), and we’re able to catch a nice sunset. We’ll be back!

Food was pretty good but nothing spectacular. I was really ticked off that I asked if they had soda on tap and did it have free refills only to find out when I got the bill that you get one refill so I got charged for two drinks. Now don’t get me wrong; paying for two drinks is no big deal. But when I specifically asked about refills and you never mentioned that you get one refill per drink… come on man!
