Tacos made with homemade tortillas are good here and the burritos here are really good. I had the nachos and I wouldn’t order that again.. No cheese on their nachos… trust me, I was really looking for cheese. ..The parking here kinda sucks and it’s hard to get in and out of the small, weird- shaped lot, so park at the liquor store and just walk to Ameca.

Not great experience food wasn’t nothing to brag about, specially for the high prices they charge 4 burritos and 4 sodas over $100? I saw my ticket and noticed they charge me for onions, cheese, Avocado, all separate.
I’d rather go to a restaurant and spend about the same for a much nicer location and meal.

food is very delicious and so are all the salsas.. I got the regular asada burrito and so did one of my daughters we both enjoyed them very much.. my other 2 daughters got bean and cheese burrito and they also really enjoyed them.. I got a pastor taco which was huge and very good.. picture is of the taco .. the only downside to this place is that it’s really expensive but worth it..

Excellent salsa bar & lengua meat was good. Taco salad pricing seems a little steep.

Two chorizo and papas and eggs with two carne asada tacos and two Cokes .. 75 bucks. They charge you for all the extras.. you want avocado that’s more u want beans that’s more. This was 19 bucks without the rice and beans

One of the best places in town to get tacos!!! The asada is delish and not fatty like a lot of other taco places. Fesh hand made tortillas are used, never store bought! Tacos are huge, not street size so beware of that when ordering. The mulitas are very yummy!! The nachos are made with fresh made chips so it takes a little while to come out and also comes with a lot of beans. So if you are not a big bean lover ask for little to no beans! But you can never go wrong with tacos de asada, ask for the grilled onions and jalepeño, so yummy!! Would definitely recommend this place to anyone! This is the secon location in Gilroy, the original location is on 10th St and there is a 3rd location in Morgan Hill. Only real complaint is the parking, especially at the first location.

Terrible customer service. I went in to order a taco plate but unfortunately it includes rice and beans, and I informed the staff that I’m allergic to beans and asked if they can please swap the beans with a scoop of rice instead. The employee told me they couldn’t do that without charging me extra. I’ve never encountered this issue at any other restaurant, and I travel a lot and never have an issue. It’s already borderline ridiculous that they charge $20 for just a taco with rice and beans, and they can’t even replace the beans with rice, which should be a simple swap since I’m removing the beans. To me, this is unacceptable service for not accommodating someone with a food allergy. The only option she provided was to charge me an additional $5 to remove the beans and add a scoop of rice. No help at all. So, my meal would end up costing around $25 plus tax just for a taco and rice! What a rip-off! Heck no. It’s not like this place is a fancy restaurant. It’s just a little taco stand basically with brick walls. So never again! Oh well.
