There is no way the food I was served was even remotely fresh. The happy family combo entree tasted entirely like shrimp, the veggies were nearly crumbling (and tasted of old shrimp). The lo mein was hard on the ends, and the chicken was dry. The employees were nice but I really feel like if you’re going to be open until 11 the food should probably be fresh until then.

I think that every place should be reviewed, from the worst to the best to the just okay.

TLDR: This place is… pretty good!

I really enjoyed the food, and the service was very quick. The actual restaurant was a bit mediocre, but I can’t provide many details on that since I ordered takeout.

I saw one review saying they had an issue with ordering out using Menufy, and I believe that’s been resolved as I had no issues!

The service was quick, and I received my order within 15 minutes of me ordering. Though I did order at 9:30 at night so that probably had something to do with the quickness.

The inside of the restaurant wasn’t anything to write home about. A good 9ish kinda big tables with chairs placed around an empty main room. Little privacy and I can’t speak to the cleanliness sadly, which I know some people mentioned wasn’t the best.

I ordered the Chicken Scewers (first and second pic) and the Chicken with Mixed Veggies (third pic) dinner combo with Fried Rice (fourth pic).

The Chicken Scewers were $8.99 for four of them, which I thought was a bit pricy until I got them. Very big pieces of chicken and very juicy. The skin was a bit burnt, but it was mostly at the ends. I was worried about the chicken itself being cooked alright since I’ve seen some reviews about food poisoning, but the chicken was cooked fully! Very good otherwise, 8/10.

The Chicken and Mixed Veggies (dinner special) was $13.99 with an added surcharge of $2.00 for the fried rice. This sounded about right and what I’d usually pay for at a typical East Aian restaurant.

The chicken was more thinly cut and was also very good and juicy. The chicken got cold and a bit quickly, but I was fine with that. The veggies we *very* mixed as well. From broccoli to bell peppers, there was everything. I think there were red and green bell peppers, mini corn, broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, and cucumber. 9/10

The Fried Rice was…fine? I don’t usually get fried rice as I’m not a huge fan of rice in general, but it tasted more or less fine. It’s a bit dry and stale, and I saw some people say that it was Mexican fried rice? I think it may be after looking at some pictures online. 6/10

There was also a Convenience Fee of $1.50 and a Tax of $1.77. In total, without tip, my order was $26.25. Considering I’ll definitely have leftovers with how big the portions were, I’m satisfied with that.

I’ve been a regular here for years and occasionally get the lunch combo, but I think the menu items are much better. I’ve never had a problem with the staff; they’ve always been friendly, but less chatty when it’s busy. Can’t beat the combos for under $10 for lunch! They have indoor dining and there’s ample parking.

please don’t get the combination Singapore noodles…. no flavor…just a waste of my money… very disappointing. i’d definitely go in person and pick food like that so you can see what you’re getting, instead of ordering online. I paid about $15 for this and an Arizona green tea. this was the saddest meal i’ve had in a while after a 4 mile hike. i won’t be back.

I’ve eaten here several times before. The food is not very good. I prefer the Beijing Cafe. But that’s not why I’m here. I called to ask if they cook their food in the same oil as the shrimp because I have an allergy. The woman on the phone said she “doesn’t know” and that “nobody else knows either”. Then she hung up on me. That’s not just rude—it’s dangerous! Restaurants are legally and ethically obligated to take food allergies seriously. It’s better to stick to places that are transparent and trained in food allergy protocols.

Everything was good. The rice didnt have a ton of flavor but it wasnt bad, adding the meat and yumyum sauce fixed it. The Miso was great.

I’m giving this a 5 star rating for one reason, the hot and sour soup is spot on. It’s the only thing I’ve eaten here and it’s amazing and well priced. A small hot and sour soup was just over $3 dollars, I imagine the large is around $5.

Food is not bad, but leaves a lot to be desired. Crab cheese wantons were great, though. Salt and pepper shrimp is quite bland. Seasame chicken would be tasty if wasn’t so dry. Lots of better $1.35+ scoop places around, but at least this food was inexpensive. Not terrible for the price, but I’m probably going somewhere else next time
