Our first visit was an experience for sure. We came because of a recommendation from a friend. We made a reservation a few days in advance. When we arrived we were asked about 8 times if we had a reservation and each time gave our name to the girls who were seating and serving people. Even after being seated the waitress said “it’s okay if you don’t have reservations”. I’m like “WE HAVE MADE RESERVATIONS” !!!! ANYWAY….We didn’t wait long and our waitress brought water and bread. It’s BYOB, no corkage fee so we brought a bottle of wine and our waitress brought wine glasses and served us our wine. I ordered the Veal Piccatta and it was delicious. It is served over your choice of pasta, comes with soup or salad. My husband ordered Veal Franchise. It’s very hard to find a restaurant that serves veal dishes so we wanted to try. It’s not the best I’ve ever had but it wasn’t the worst either. I love lemon and caper sauce with artichokes. The atmosphere was very loud. The servers speak very loudly, but they work very hard to please. If you’re looking for old school Italian food, this is your place. If you’re looking for a quiet date night place, not so much. It’s very loud and music can be heard faintly in the background but is drowned out by the servers lol.

This place is AMAZING. The food is delicious, the service is fast & friendly. The portion sizes are spectacular. The bread and oil is the best you will ever have. 10/10 all the way around. If I could give 10 stars I would. This is the best local Italian spot to go to.

We went last night for the first time and we really enjoyed ourselves! Owners Eugenio (chef) and his wife Tica (server) were welcoming as if we were a guest in their home. Tica suggested dishes that are extra special including their veal and eggplant. My husband requested marsala with artichokes instead of mushrooms and they were happy to make it for him with no hesitation. Each dish is prepared individually so requests are not a problem at all and food is served piping hot!! The bread was fresh and hot too with dipping seasoned olive oil and the desserts were incredible,Tiramisu and Lemoncello cake were the best I’ve ever had! We love the BYOB, no corkage fee. Tica happily opened the wine, provided glasses and a bucket with ice for the white wine. We’ll be back for sure, so many favorites on the menu to try! Grazie!

In town for a soccer event and came across this little gem in Bradenton. Thankful for the other reviews to convince us to try Villa Sorrento. We have some great Italian food in the suburbs of Indiana and my wife is Italian. This is right up there with them. The portions are very generous and everything is light and fresh. We had the penne Alfredo with shrimp and the penne with oil and garlic. Pasta was el dente and came out hot. We also had the bruschetta. Also very fresh and great flavor. Plenty of locals in there so you know it’s good. Highly recommend. Don’t judge a book by its cover.

Forget Olive Garden, this place is the real deal! It looks kinda plain on the outside, but the food is really authentic and delicious.
Definitely worth the time and money for real Italian food. Not only that, you can bring your own beer and/or wine with no corking fees.
Definitely a yes!

This is a family owned restaurant – the kind of place where the dad cooks and the mom comes out to check on you. The food is, simply, incredible – food that makes everyone smile makes your tummy feel warm and happy. EVERYTHING we ordered was delicious – the eggplant appetizer was crispy, not oily and flavorful, the Bolognese had depth and was not too heavy – but the best thing we ate was the clam and calamari pasta – perhaps one of the best dishes I’ve ever had. If you have an inch of room, get a desert – the tiramisu was the perfect way to finish the meal. be sure to bring your own Wine though – they have no alcohol.

This restaurant is the best kept secret. You always feel like family and the food is exceptional, no cork fee and the lemoncello cake is delicious. We come and support the owners Tica and Jay and bring new friends every time.

Echoing all the other good reviews. Food was great and we took home enough for another two meals. There was a loud group there for the first half hour. It was evident that this is their favorite hangout. When our waitress asked about dessert we laughed about how it must be a hard sell when people are full. Ended up with mini cannolis that were a nice reminder of time in Sicily for $1.50 each!
