Haven’t been here in so long the last time I’ve been here was years ago when my grandparents were still alive when I used to come to town with them and we will always eat here, brought a lot of memories back so I got the hamburger steak. It was very good. I enjoyed it with mashed potato gravy and corn, and a sopapilla and a side of salad. It was good. I enjoyed it so next time I wanna try the enchiladas and the staff was very friendly. I chatted with some of them and I laughed with a few and they just talked about how a lot of Native Americans come in here and a lot of people say that the last time they ate here was with their grandparents and stuff that was pretty Great . So I’ll be back to try the chicken enchilada.

I would say that for most of us living in the Farmington area that this place is a hidden gym. Walking into the dining room is like stepping foot into a living history exhibit. Each of the original booths has its own jukebox and there is an authentic 1960s era counter service. I’ve not been in for the buffet and I’ve only been to lunch one time but the food is consistently up to standard for American diner fare. I would say you catch this place at its best if you visit during breakfast time.The vibe very much takes me back to having breakfast with my grandfather in the 70s. In fact, when I stopped in for breakfast, Chef Bernie himself was helping set up the buffet line. The staff told me that he opened the place back in the 60s. I would encourage everyone in Farmington to visit at least once. Let’s keep this piece of living history going!

Wonderful breakfast best prices in town. And the environment it’s amazing like stepping back in time. It has the old vintage coffee shop feel. And the old radios at each tables are cool too look at. And the service is great. I haven’t tried the buffet yet but it looks good with all the homemade desserts.

This restaurant environment will take you back to the 60s, it’s clean & they preserved the originality of the place which makes it unique and comfy for those who are from this time. The waitresses were kind and kept our coffee refills coming. Which the coffee was good, nice n hot, it was served with half n half, so if you want flavor or Splena BYO. I ordered scrambled eggs with cheese & bacon. I asked for no other sides but they still served it with Hashbrowns which was nice & crispy from a tiny taste. My mom ordered over easy eggs, bacon, Hashbrowns and biscuits & gravy… which all great except that the bacon was extremely overcooked and partially burnt on the edges and there was no fruit or veggies on the menu to add to my plate. My mom enjoyed herself and this was a pleasant place to have breakfast with my mom. Thankyou Chef Bernie for taking me back to the 60s. This was my dad’s favorite place to eat and now he’s gone so I will enjoy this place for him. Also there was so many green plants indoors it was comforting.

WORST dining experience EVER!! Food was disgusting. Bathrooms were disgusting with no soap and employees going to restroom. Not trying to be rude but I work in Healthcare and are trusting them to serve my kids clean, healthy food. They obviously didn’t like that I had a problem with this, which I didn’t even ask to speak to someone about it but had the owner come out and ask if I wanted to speak with him. When I said “No, I was only concerned about there being no soap in the restroom” He turned to ask one of the waitresses and asked who had asked for him, she said ” Her, she’s complaining about something” waving a dish rag in my direction. I turned and said “my only complaint was the soap”. The owner just walked away. They made the rest of the dinner uncomfortable as they kept coming out and staring. I didn’t even touch my food and discarded it in the trash when we left because all this occurred prior to receiving the food. The little old waitress was the only reason this got a two star for service. She was kind and tried her best. The bathroom had what seemed to be dirty toilet water all over the floor, the stall didn’t lock, the toilet lids were loose, and it was very difficult to flush toilets, All this in addition to no soap and my dad’s order being almost completely wrong and had to give to my daughter because her spaghetti was disgusting and had no sauce. To add, my son said the employee going to use the restroom while we were in the tiny restroom told him to move out of her way. Not excuse me. Not please….nothing.

The staff is not friendly, when you comment on their food they announce it to the whole restaurant and basically mock & laugh about it in your face. The workers are lazy. The owner doesn’t take credit in bad food or service. He will charge you full price even though your burger had a really bad plastic/lotion after taste. One of the workers questioned if the chef was wearing gloves in the back making food. There plates are not worth it, very small portions, it’s not what it used to be. They charge on every little thing. We walked in with no sign saying “Cash Only” and we were told “no cards” after the fact, the employees knew and they kept seating ppl without any sign or notification it was only “cash”. Then the owner said “Only Cash, No Card”, and then tells us “Let me try the other machine” after we said we only had card.
