Our server, Bill was fantastic. He made sure we didn’t over-order and his tips were spot on. His friendly service made the experience even better. Highly recommend!
My favourite fished are Masala dosa and Biryani
The Dum Lamb Biryani was delicious and the sauce to accompany it was very tasty. We had a Dosa and Lamb Biryani, also chicken nuggets and chips for the little one. The portions were very generous and everything tasted fresh and absolutely brilliant. It was their 1 year anniversary so they gave us a complimentary chicken and egg fried rice, also delicious, and asian dessert. Everything cost £26 also brilliant. I would definitely be going again. Everything is Halal
Quite humble surroundings and not somewhere you would maybe notice unless you knew where to go but don’t let that put you off as this place is highly worth the visit and would recommend sitting in.
Low-key restaurant and chilled service, we went for two non-veg curries with a bread basket, and to start we had these doughnut things (forgotten the name!!) and this unbelievably good green chicken starter (Tulsi fried chicken)
The starters were to die for and I could have easily had about five portions of the fried chicken, which was melt in your mouth juicy
We ordered the chicken chettinad and a mango chicken curry for our mains. My favourite was the chettinad, which was stuffed full of super juicy chicken and just the right level of spice but amazing depth of flavour. Bread basket was great and was a generous portion
By far one of the best curry meals we’ve had and came to £40 for the two of us, which is a steal for the amount of food we had, with lassis each. Already vowed to return as we were walking back to the car. Banging!!
Enough seating area for small groups. The menu is enticing especially if you fancy pure south Indian vegetarian cuisines. I was pleasantly surprised with the taste and quality of the food.
The service is quick and pleasing.
No alcohol. So try the chai and kaapi options with crispy starters.
I need to make another trip to try to the Non Veg dishes.
On top of that, the staff seemed poorly trained and unprofessional, which ruined the entire dining experience. Serving non-vegetarian food with a vegetarian dish without consent is a serious mistake. I will not be coming back, and I strongly advise vegetarians to be very cautious when ordering here
