Probably the most “fine dining experience” in Farmville. Perfect for a special date night, though it’s laid-back enough for a casual visit too. The food usually takes a while to arrive but there’s a beautiful, spreading view of Farmville to enjoy while you wait. The menu is limited to gourmet appetizers and woodfired pizzas. My husband and I shared the Brussels sprouts (pretty pricey for the portion size but delicious) and a Chesapeake pizza. If you’re looking for unique Farmville experiences, this is one you don’t want to miss.

Our first visit and we will return often to dine on the rooftop. The pizzas are bigger than you’d think and scrumptious! So pretty to watch the sunset and enjoy fun drinks. Madeline was friendly and provided exceptional service! Love Love Love.

Catbird Rooftop Terrace just reopened yesterday afternoon, and I was grateful to be able to go up there and see some beautiful views of downtown Farmville from that vantage point. After walking up the hill on High Street from my Piedmont Real Estate office nearby and entering the front of Hotel Weyanoke, I immediately took the elevator to the right of the front desk and hit the button for the Fifth Floor. Once stepping off the elevator, I found it was great to know that the top floor actually was the terrace with a hotel restaurant and some wonderful views of Farmville real estate downtown and surrounding areas. Fortunately the tables on the rooftop terrace were spaced appropriately to allow for social distancing, and the servers were very friendly. The terrace has a spacious feel. It definitely will become an increasing popular place to socialize again as we emerge from this pandemic!

While the view at Catbird Rooftop Terrace is undeniably stunning, the service left much to be desired. Our visit was marred by several issues: our pizza was significantly delayed, and parts of our order were completely forgotten. To make matters worse, there was no genuine attempt to rectify these errors. For a place with such potential, it’s disappointing that the service didn’t match the ambience.

A few drops of rain fell, no thunder or lightning and they told us we couldn’t eat on the roof. The bar remained open yet we couldn’t sit on the terrace and have appetizers and pizza. Very disappointed. The surroundings are lovely and the views are great but closing because of a handful of rain drops literally not even a shower is ridiculous. Also customers continued to drink at the rooftop bar the rest of the evening.

I would give a 5 but the sun can get in the way but not their fault. Food and drinks were good. Same menu as lower restaurant which is disappointing but the views were nice. I would like to add the food was good, drinks even better, and staff friendly….

One of the most beautiful places to dine in the FarmVille area. Great atmosphere and even better views. The problem is you will have to wait two hours to get your food. The one thought I have running through my mind right now is “Should I eat the empty plate in front of me?”. Yes, I am that hungry. The overpriced drinks only take second place to the fact that this place is extremely understaffed. If you have a day to yourself, a recently cashed paycheck, and a low alchohol tolerance than this is the place for you. Thank you.

Recently visited here with my daughter, plenty of staff on hand, the food & drinks were very good, and priced very reasonable. We’ll be back for sure.
My only complaint would be, we ordered Pimento Cheese & Chips as an appetizer, ran out of chips with a quarter bowl of cheese left, we were not offered more chips, the server just picked the plate up and walked off with it, never even asked if we were done with it or wanted more chips.

Here for a girls weekend at the Hotel Weyanoke. We LOVED everything about the rooftop terrace. The ambience included mello music, beautiful views, comfortable furniture, and very good food!
And the service- We were graciously greeted and served by the patient, well spoken, kind, knowledgeable, and exquisitely present Mitchell.
