My first visit here, but definitely will not be my last! The food was delicious! The service was excellent and very friendly! If you have seen this business but have never stopped, do yourself a favor and give them a try! You will definitely be glad you did! The prices are outstanding!

Don’t let the exterior fool you. The food here is great and the couple who owns it are always very kind. I usually get a combination phad Thai and some friend wontons. Other places in town have come and gone but this place has stood the test of time.

Thai Orchid is a friendly restaurant that I stopped here once before with my daughter, and I remembered how good the food is. So when approaching Wichita Falls today en route to my final destination, I searched for it, happening to arrive shortly after their 5pm opening hour.
I was surprised (as I was the first time) at how un-busy it was, especially given the food quality. I ordered the Pad Thai with tofu and vegetables. When my server asked about spice, I replied with one word: “Medium.”
Sweet Mother of Jesus, that was HOT! I was sweating, but loving every minute of it. I had to ask for a glass of water to try to put out the fire, to no avail. My tongue was smoking for a good 30 minutes afterward. If you are averse to heat, maybe say “Mild” or “None.”
I was especially touched by all the employees wishing me—again, the only customer—a Merry Christmas as I exited. That was really nice. I will remember, and shall return next time through town.

Seems like a not so well known gem. There is minimal staff so realise if its busy service will be slow. Went for lunch and they weren’t busy. Don’t let the lack of customers fool you tho. The lady serving us was very sweet and the cooks in the kitchen made the food fresh and fast. Great taste!

This is our favorite restaurant in Wichita Falls. The food is always perfect whether we eat in or take out. The beautiful owner/waitress is efficient and friendly no matter how busy. We eat there so much she remembers our orders! We always order enough food so that we have leftovers for a day or two. A few years ago, my daughter treated me to a very nice, highly rated Thai food restaurant in NYC. I was surprised to find that much of the food I ordered was similar, and some not anywhere as good as Wichita Falls very own Thai Orchid! It is my restaurant of choice for today’s Mother’s Day meal! Thank you Thai Orchid for your quality food and warm and welcoming service!

Ok to be fair this is a good restaurant for what you can expect in our little town. However, the staff have the worse customer service you will ever witness. That is mainly because the owner refuses to hire waiters and hosts, making both of those task fall on one person who is clearly over worked and overwhelmed. My family waited 45 minutes for our food to come out to the table and by that time my 7mo year old daughter finished her bottle and started to get restless. To avoid the entire restaurant being forced to endure the wrath of a tired, bored and irritated screaming baby, we asked for our food to be boxed up, which took an additional 7mins to complete. All in all this could be a great restaurant if they hired more staff and provided them with the proper training. The food is good but I suggest ordering for to go. They also close early if it is not busy so be aware of that.
