Worst Mexican food I have ever ate or tasted!!! Pastor no flavor, asada was like ground beef. All the meat they sell just sits in pans they don’t throw it back on the grill to warm up. They just throw on your taco. I got pastor asada and tripas all was cold. I asked for crunchy tripas they was soft and cold. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!!

By far the best food we had during our Nacogdoches trip. If you’re looking for authentic Mexican food, this is the place to go! I especially enjoyed the cochinita tacos and agua fresca de pepino. They have ample menu options and the building has AC, which was much needed after walking in the sun for so long. Our waitress was so sweet and accommodating too.

AND finally, the prices here are insanely cheap! 3 people were able to eat well for under $20.

Food was good. The sizes were a bit on the small size for what they were priced at (prices were not listed) but the taste made up for it. If you’re in for Mexican food give it a try

Worst asada burrito and torta I’ve ever had.
The asada is rubbery and not seasoned at all. The torta roll was super hard. Tasted like card board. The burrito was nothing but chewy gristly meat and a smudge of beans and a sprinkle of rice. No cheese to be found no creama. I took a few bites and set it outside for the animals. The experience was absolutely disappointing. Feel guilty about spending $20 on food just to give to my. Still hungry but I’ll never be back there. SMH…. It’s not even eatable. Red sauce is the only thing decent.

Big improvement for dining, more tables inside and out, comfortable temperature in cold weather.
Friendly waitress, quick service, always delicious breakfast tacos. Don’t miss this hiden spot when visiting Nacogdoches.

Delicious tacos! The strawberry agua fresca was so delicious and sweet as well as the cucumber and lime! Be warned, the red and green sauces are spicy but tasty!

STAY AWAY! WORST MEXICAN RESTAURANT I HAVE BEEN TO, AND I EAT AT A LOT MEXICAN PLACES. First impression, all the tables were dirty when we walked in. Even when busy, no excuse to have all tables dirty. It was not busy when we walked in. Restaurant needs remodeling in it’s restrooms. The sinks are old and rusty with lots of yellow. Women’s restroom door doesn’t close easily and you have to push and push to close it. I’m strong, and I struggled.
Worst of all, the food was horrific. My husband’s food tasted rotten, especially the nopales and jalapenos. They tasted like they were left out for days. They already had a smell, I showed the waitress. I’m afraid to get food poisoning for tasting my husband’s food. Fajita was very chewy, not good. Cheese quesadilla lacked cheese. Not worth it. I’m not sure why this place has good reviews after tasting their food, maybe not enough options nearby. We should had gone to the BBQ place nearby. I would choose another Mexican place if you are craving Mexican food unfortunately. Choose another place if you don’t want to get sick. Not worth it. I’m sure they use bad spoiled, food.

This is about as real as it gets! Don’t let the façade of this restaurant fool you, this is a hidden gem in town. Family owned and Family ran.

Had breakfast tacos that were very good, went back for lunch with a enchilada plate. Good and reasonable.

I had high hopes for this place. The people were nice, the atmosphere was friendly. However, the food didn’t hit the mark for me. I ordered a variety of different meats for tacos and they were extremely bland.

After adding cholula sauce at home they were good, but I prefer things to be good by themselves.

If you like hot sauce, COME HERE. I was breathing fire after tasting their green sauce. You’ll love it!
