Country Pride Restaurant is a solid stop for a good breakfast. The food was satisfying and just what you’d expect from a classic American diner. The space has a nice, cozy feel with that familiar, comfortable roadside restaurant atmosphere.
It’s convenient being right inside the travel center, especially if you’re on the road and want a proper sit-down meal instead of fast food. Overall, a pleasant experience and a dependable place to grab breakfast.

Absolutely delicious food! We loved the pork chops, hot honey fried chicken (it has quite a kick, but it is so delicious)… and the fried pickles! Yum! Alicia was an amazing server and took care of us above and beyond! Portions are very generous! If we ever travel through this way again, we will definitely be stopping by!

I did like this stop. Although a very small space it was kept clean with well kept grounds. Bathrooms were well kept; just noticed some toilet paper on the ground. Very minor. Small food and drink selection but otherwise a pleasant experience with respectful staff. Also Country Pride Restaurant inside was clean with menu prices not thru the roof expensive as with most travel stops.

Best service & breakfast I’ve had near Penn State out of 3 places I have eaten while traveling through this year. The waitress was psychic, lol. She had incredible service. From knowing to put sausage gravy on my biscuit, instead of white gravy & on the side. When asked for a side of gravy. To knowing I wanted ketchup when I almost forgot to ask. She was on top of it. Food was excellent & even offered a to-go cup of coffee before I asked. Even though I’d recommended the food. The service was absolutely outstanding & one of the better experiences I’ve had in a while. Excellent service. 1st 5 star from me in this area.

Server was very nice.. food wasn’t great. Fake mashed potatoes and they only serve beef gravy over their turkey and poultry items.. prices were on the high side for the food quality. Other places are better.. Also, they want to charge you for Wifi.. get real!
