I arrived in time to buy the last cherry pie. What a great bakery and restaurant. They also sell ice cream! I thought I was in bakery heaven. It was hard to choose. Everything looked delicious. The baked goods were outstanding. The deli sandwiches were decent, but nothing special. The 2 young girls working the counter were definitely off-putting though… they 100% acted like they didn’t want to be there or help anyone without reluctance. They did their job though… so there’s that. But the lack of pleasantness definitely was disappointing. But otherwise I would highly recommend the bake shop.

We ordered 2 dozen cupcakes over the phone and emailed an example photo showing simple ivory and peach flowers. Cake Designs (Joann) did a beautiful job decorating the chocolate and vanilla cupcakes, just like the picture, and they were a big hit at our party!

We absolutely loved working with Northwater Bakery for our wedding! Having been longtime fans of their dangerously delicious breakfast sandwiches, we knew their baked goods would be just as amazing—and they did not disappoint. We ordered a small tiered cake and a variety of cupcakes, and the flavors were an absolute hit. Our guests struggled to choose just one because everything was so delicious!
The desserts were so beautifully crafted that it almost felt wrong to eat them — they were truly works of art. What stood out most to me was the honesty and care of the staff. They encouraged me to order less than I originally planned, warning that I would have more than enough — and they were absolutely right! We had the perfect amount with little to take home (also purchased cupcake take home containers for guests to bring the cupcakes home – which many did).
Beyond the incredible taste and design, the Northwater team was a pleasure to work with. They did their own set up, which gave me such peace of mind on our wedding day. They were just as sweet and thoughtful in person as their cakes were to eat.
