For Angelo, cooking equals happiness and the most important thing at Esposito’s, besides bringing recipes to life, is the relationship he has with customers. If you make more than one trip to the restaurant you’ll notice that many of those customers aren’t simply customers, they’re regulars. It’s become a tight-knit community where dishes like fruta di mare and the grandma pizza are favorites and foodies can find exactly what they’re looking for to satisfy their cravings.

I have been going to Esposito’s for 20+ years. Their vodka sauce is some of the best I’ve ever had – on pasta, chicken, or pizza dish. Their grandma pies (regular and w/ vodka sauce) are top tier. The owner Angelo is always so welcoming and I feel like family walking in there. A lot of the staff have been there for many years too, who are all super friendly as well. A great local spot in our community.

So Esposito’s continues to deny the fact that I received a thick string in my pizza. So now I needed to post a SECOND review through my other email account. We never made the call because it was Sunday night, we were beyond disgusted, and you are closed on Mondays so by Tuesday we decided to only leave a review. We did not care about receiving a refund, but we wanted to make people aware that a literal piece of rope was found in our pizza. We are not competitors trying to ruin a business, we do NOT have the wrong Esposito’s, this is the ONLY espositio’s we have ever been to. It is downright embarrassing that you continue to not own up to what we found in the pizza, even though we took a PICTURE. Absolutely disgusting customer service. There is absolutely ZERO reason for you to deny it repeatedly. This is the CORRECT location, and we ordered a CRUMBLED sausage pizza, and we received a THICK PIECE OF ROPE in one of the slices. You all are disgusting.

We have ordered from them multiple times, but yesterday we ordered a sausage pizza. In one of the slices there was a four inch piece of thick rope, it was in their CRUMBLED SAUSAGE PIE. It is careless that that was IN the pizza. Now that the owner who replied to my review is denying this ever happened, we will definitely NOT be going back there. Horrible service. ***I do NOT have the wrong Esposito’s.*** This is the EXACT location we went to and got this disgusting rope in our pizza!

Esposito’s is is a great find a great find in Bergen county. The sauce speaks to you right from the 1st bite. The crust and cheese are both excellent which simply makes this a very good slice of pizza. The place is super clean and the people are super nice. I was told that they making excellent grandma pie, so I’m looking forward to my next visit to Esposito’s pizzeria.
