I am in town for the week for work. I love myself a good teriyaki. (I am a very picky eater) I had an hour break for lunch today and found myself here at Honto Teriyaki II. The restaurant is very clean, quiet, and the service was fantastic. I was welcomed when I walked in, and my meal brought to my table. Now the food… I went absolutely basic and went with the chicken teriyaki with salad. I have to say I asked for “extra” teriyaki. The lovely lady brought me a bottle so I can add as much as I felt I needed. I didn’t need to add any. Everything had the perfect amount of sauce. I will absolutely be coming back for lunch before I head back home.

We don’t eat out much, but I love this spot. Over the years i have stopped by (usually for take out, but once or twice dined in), and we’ve always had a great experience. Love the folks behind the counter and the food has always been so tasty and the po perfect portions. Love the variety, and the prices are quite reasonable.

This place has been on my go to list for a while and I was finally able to visit. Inside was well lit and clean. Got a to-go order that consisted of some egg rolls, California rolls, tonkatsu donburi and a chicken teriyaki/chicken katsu combination which gave a nice variety to review. It took a while for someone to come and get my order (there was only one person waiting for their order when I got there). It took about 15 minutes for the order to come out which was a little long seeing as there weren’t many people there.
The food was good! Not the best teriyaki but a solid score. The egg rolls were crispy, California rolls were a decent size and tasted good. The portion size of the combination was a little smaller than the usual place I go to. I would have liked to have more of the teriyaki chicken. The chicken katsu was crispy and tasted good. My wife didn’t like her donburi as much due to the amount of onions so if you don’t like onions, don’t get it!
Overall a good experience!

One of the very best Teriyaki places that I’ve ever been to! It’s clean, fresh, and tasty!! I could tell that everything we had was made from scratch with the freshest ingredients. The food was flavorful! I really liked the vegetable tempura – hot and crispy!

Should have known got a drink that was a year expired food came out 1 minute after I ordered gave 19 dollars it was dry and funky tasting chicken I would steer clear there was not a sould in the restaurant at lunchtime
