We stopped by for a late lunch/ early dinner and tried the Shrimp and General Tso’s chicken combo with two bowls of rice. The food was delicious. The chicken particularly was juicy and tender: the sauce sweet with a nice chili kick. The restaurant looked family run and there was a fun Chinese game show playing in the background. The service was excellent as well. They had our food out quickly. The atmosphere could be improved as it seemed that half of the restaurant was not in use. Nonetheless, the quality and authenticity of the food made the experience enjoyable.

Great hidden gem here in Spring. A long time favorite in the area. The place is more set up for takeout and delivery but there a few open tables for dine in service. Highly recommended for picking something up on the way home for work or on the way home after a day out. bBe sure to try the Mongolian beef and Singapore noodles.

We were craving egg rolls and this place delivered! It is a family owned establishment that has a coziness. The host was so sweet. The egg rolls were delicious and they make the spicy mustard in house. It was so good and my sinuses are clear! I look forward to coming back.

New Years Eve. Didn’t wanna cook nothing. So wife order my food. General tso chicken and fried rice. Worst tso chicken i have ever had. The sauce taste like it was burned and over cooked. I paid $20. And only could eat a taste of it. I’ll never go back. I i had to trash it.

Golden Jade – Spring, TX
If you’re craving Chinese food that actually slaps, do yourself a favor and make your way to Golden Jade in Spring. This place is the real deal — no gimmicks, no shortcuts, just honest-to-goodness delicious food that’ll make you wonder why you ever settled for bland takeout in the past.
From the moment we walked in, the aroma alone had me feeling like I stepped into an elite-tier noodle dojo. I ordered the House Special city lo mein, and my friend got the General Tso’s city Chicken — both came out hot, fresh, and absolutely loaded with flavor. The chicken was crispy, not soggy. The noodles? Perfect chew. The veggies? Crunchy and vibrant like they were prepped by a kung-fu master.
And yes, I’m going to say it:
It tastes like City Wok — if City Wok was real, and actually amazing.
Imagine if Mr. Lu Kim got a Michelin star and actually knew what he was doing. That’s Golden Jade. All the comforting flavor, minus the cartoon chaos.
Portions are generous, prices are super reasonable, and the staff is friendly but no-nonsense — exactly what you want in a solid neighborhood Chinese spot. Whether you’re grabbing takeout or dining in, this place brings the heat every time. Any ways kids dont eat here, this crap give you worms!
1/10.
Come eat at city wok in southpark instead!

This was our 1st visit. I needed something on the way home from work. The staff made sure I was aware of the location and confirmed before I ordered. When I arrived she was friendly and recognized how quickly I got there. She went over my order before I left to make sure everything was there. And let’s talk about YUMMY. We did the magnolian beef, Singapore noodles, fried rice and general chicken and egg rolls. Def will be coming back!

I got the lemon wings & shrimp fried rice with added chicken. I was impressed with the presentation & service before I got to taste the food which was better than I expected. Honestly it was better than some of the bigger Chinese spots I’ve tried. The lady was very sweet & patient with me while I ordered because I never ate there before. I dined in & their sweet little boy came to refill my cup when it was half empty. The wings were really good, so was the rice. I wished I could have finished it all right then. I recommend this place.
