If you haven’t tried Lou Malnati’s, you are genuinely missing out. I went with friends and every single one of us was blown away. The pizza is unreal — the texture is perfect, the crust is buttery and crisp, and the sauce… wow. Rich, deep, flavorful, and tastes exactly like real Chicago deep-dish — honestly, maybe even better.

You can tell they use quality ingredients and take pride in their food. Every bite was loaded with flavor, and the cheese pull alone had us hyped. We were all sitting there like, “Okay, THIS is our new spot.”

It’s rare to find a place where everybody at the table loves it just as much, but this was one of those places. If you’re looking for the kind of pizza that makes you stop mid-conversation and just appreciate how good it is — this is it.

Highly recommend this place to anyone in the community. Whether you’re a deep-dish fan or just looking for the best pizza around, Lou Malnati’s will not disappoint. This is officially our new go-to.

I ordered a family meal. Paid $75. I only got the pizza. Not enough food to feed my family my of 4.

They sent me a gift certificate for $50. So I used that to order more food so my entire family could eat. They messed up the order, so had to drive to the restaurant, after paying for delivery fees and tip!

They said they would remake the pizzas and would resend them. Didn’t get the pizzas at all. I have cameras all around my home, just like most people in Fox Point. I have flood lights with cameras. My cameras take continuous video and is saved for 30 days.

They said that they have a picture from DoorDash that said they delivered the pizzas. The literally 12 cameras I have, all with motion activated sensors disagree. A person couldn’t even come in front of my home without a camera recording it. My driveway has a camera. My front door has a camera. So don’t tell me that my pizza was delivered, when my time/date stamped cameras can literally dispute that.

The manager said he would give me my money back for the original order, nearly all if which I didn’t get. The second order was a half and half, which my kids wouldn’t eat, as they put ALL the toppings over the entire pizza.

This location needs to read their orders. I hate complaining, but this was absolutely ridiculous.
Not getting orders, getting the wrong order, and then not getting an order at all.

I am waiting for my entire refund at this point, because I am never ordering from this location again

I want to give a shout out to Lou Malnati’s, and especially their manager Max. I didn’t realize that they don’t open until 4 o’clock on Monday afternoons and I happen to get there about noon expecting them to be open. When they weren’t, Max let me in so that I could pick up some frozen pizzas. Above and beyond. We buy our pizza from Malnati’s every week and will continue to do so as long as we can.

I ordered a pizza and garlic bread for dinner tonight and it was a big hit with my family. Everyone agreed that it was the best pizza we’ve had in a long time. The garlic bread was equally fantastic. It is obvious that great care was put into our order despite the restaurant being very busy. When I stopped in to pick up my order, the employees were very helpful and friendly. I’ll be ordering from here again!

Definitely better than the competition. We love Lou Malnati’s and we drive to Illinois all the time for the deep dish, so we were extremely excited when there was one being opened 20 minutes from us.

It could really use some work though, to be honest. First of all, for being deep dish, it’s not very deep. Compared to the Chicago locations, it’s like half the thickness, half the toppings, half the sauce. Even being halfway there, it’s still better than competitors. The deep dish we usually get is SMOTHERED in sauce and tomatoes. This one, you can actually see the cheese and pepperoni on the pizza. When I saw that, I was already kind of weary about trying it. When I was ordering online, I wanted to put extra sauce, but I decided against it so we could see how it normally is here without customization. So now I know next time to get extra sauce. The amount of cheese was also just not there. I normally am unable to eat an entire slice in one sitting. I ate my whole piece this time.

We love the fact that they use the same kind of parmesan cheese as Ill. We enjoyed the pizza, but if we are going to pay the same amount as other locations, we’ll just drive to Gurnee or Chicago. At least until this one doesn’t skimp on the toppings.

Update: I responded to the response from the owner. I never received any additional communications.

Lou Malnati’s used to be my favorite pizza place in town until recently. We ordered a pizza on New Year’s Eve. This is what it looked like. I thought I would try again. Unfortunately, it was slightly better than this but not by much. I checked the pizza this time at pickup. When I opened it, the person working the counter asked me if I was ok with how it looked. Why should that even be a question? You shouldn’t get a burnt pizza when you are spending close to fifty dollars on a pizza and a salad. I don’t think I will be ordering from there again unless there are significant changes. I called the corporate offices. I hope they bring back the pizza that my family loves.

Pizza, as always, was amazing. However, I have to complain about this dessert (haven’t tasted it yet, but that isn’t the gripe). When advertised on DoorDash, the chocolate cake looks huge, multi-tiered, covered in ganache, etc., and costs $10. What was delivered is little more than a chocolate coated brownie. The dessert is a massive rip-off (not to mention falsely advertised) for the price
