Southern Sugar Companny Natchez, formerly Wishes Sweets & Eats, is a woman owned bakery in Downtown Natchez, Mississippi! We offer a wide variety of sweet treats including freshly baked cupcakes and cookies as well as ice cream, deliciously fresh coffee and espresso, and other fun beverages like our fresh squeezed lemonade and Pink Drinks! I tried several coffee spots around town on our two day post-Thanksgiving trip, and this coffee was superior! We loved it so much we came back for numerous visits. My husband got a simple latte, and I got a chai. We also chose the protein butterfinger bites. This place has delicious selections of cookies and more. I will definitely come back when driving thru Natchez.

The CUTEST little place! My manager was raving so I stopped in today to get myself a treat. They had the most fun theme inside and had free samples of their cinnamon roll available. Being as though they are new they didn’t have a whole bunch to choose from but it was definitely a good and appetizing little selection available. I ended up going with a warm chocolate chip cookie and a scoop of Ice cream. Very much worth what i spent and i probably wouldn’t get it too often as it was very decadent. Caylen, Jordan, and JaCee were the sweetest and fully disclosed how even though they aren’t nut free what items were made before any nuts were brought out today. All in all i can see this being a great spot to hang out after school or just a stop in to get something sweet. The only thing I’d advise is a wall menu of some sort. They also serve coffee (drip and specialty) and have an incoming grab and go menu! So excited to see Natchez support this new business! Can’t wait to stop in again

Absolutely adorable!! Super nice staff. Comfortable vibe. I only got a coffee, but it was absolutely amazing! Parking was easy and within walking distance. Got a regular size coffee for roughly $7.00, which is the norm for most places. Would definitely go here again!
Edit: I bought a birthday cake from wishes and it was absolutely adorable and tasted amazing. It was a Strawberry cake with strawberry filling and strawberry icing. The attention to detail was amazing and exactly what I asked for!! There was a lot of love put into it. ❤️

I bought a “birthday cake” cupcake ($5.35) from here and it was very VERY dry. The icing was “ok. The customer service and atmosphere was pleasant but I was not pleased with the cupcake . I am willing to give WISHES another try with hopes that the cupcake is fresh next time.

It was a really cute place to get a treat. It would be really cute for kids. The coffee was ok and the chocolate chip cookie was good but way too sweet for our taste! We were able to find parking within walking distance and it was a nice walk.

I absolutely love all my girls here! I’ve been giving Caylen like all my money for almost a year and I don’t regret any of it! I have tried not one thing I haven’t loved that they’ve made, from breakfast and coffee, to an afternoon snack. I’ve gone to every single one of Caylens pop up events she did before she opened Wishes, now I go to the bakery literally almost every day. My FAVORITE thing is the cookie butter cupcake, which just so happend to be MY WEDDING CAKE flavor that she made for me (peep the picture to see how beautiful it is and it tasted even better) if you haven’t been here yet, get up and go RIGHT NOW!

I’ve only had the cupcakes, cookies, iced coffee the Turtle one and the blueberry muffin but all were delicious!! The service is great! I love the atmosphere! The staff is wonderful!! I love the owner! Caylen has put her heart and soul into her new establishment. She is so proud and I’m so proud for her! Come to Wishes and I feel sure you will agree!!!

After being in almost every corner of the country, we can safely say it is the best cafe. Perfect cookies, the tres leches cake is unbelievable. Supreme service and beautiful ambience. We will come back again for sure.
