What started as a very amicable conversation led me to suspect something wrong is going on after leaving. Let me explain. The what I presume is the owner, tells me a story about how he moved from Chicago to South Florida and needs to find a basketball team for his kid. So I order two 20 oz smoothies, which is what I always order. The order is always $15-$17 with taxes for both, but for some reason I was charged $24. I can only assume that a tip is automatically being added to the order without permission.
I get home and my wife tells me that she took my daughter to get a vegan smoothie, which is what she always gets, and she paid more than the usual as well. Guess what, she bought it in the same location! We are usual consumers of Smoothie King, but this is the first time that we felt something was off. Very disappointed.
Be careful, do the math and ask for a receipt. I was wrong in not asking for one. What’s crazy is that he actually asks you to please give him a google review.

I come to this Smoothie King several times a week, and even though there are a few other smoothie places nearby, I always choose this location. The drive-thru is super convenient and easy, and the staff is consistently friendly, professional, and always willing to help me choose an option that fits my diet. I come here often (at least once a week) and it’s always a pleasure. The team is sweet, attentive, and incredibly patient. Their toasts are the perfect combination of healthy and delicious; my favorite is the hazelnut .

I have came to this location in the past month three different times even though associates were nice kids i went to get an açaí bowl and their excuse every time is that it’s ‘defrosting’ and when asked how long it will take they said 2-3 hours which would be closing time by then which of course feels like a lie. I ended up asking for two smoothies and the second one was a quarter empty and both weren’t up to the expectations either.I barely ever write reviews but it’s just so disappointing since i have been getting smoothies and açaí bowls from smoothie king for years and always had a great experience ,i hadn’t been disappointed till now.
