FIRST TIMER as far as ordering here. I am a VERY PICKY eater who also comes from a cooking family whom owns a food truck. When I say the food was definitely amazing you can definitely take my word for it. You won’t be disappointed. The prices are WELL WORTH the portion size and everything was very flavorful. I love that the breakfast sandwhiches were not overly greasy as well. I got extra beef bacon on both of my breakfast sandwhiches.The breakfast potatoes were to die for….Sometims you want to enjoy a nice meal for once without having to be the one to cook it……THIS was THAT for me. Thank you Breakfast Spot, you definitely gained a loyal customer with this one. =)

Let’s just say “Black Excellence”
From the time me and my favorite human on the planet arrived until we departed from “That Breakfast Spot” nothing but warmth and love. Very very welcoming and kind on purpose. The food sealed the deal for us. Every bite was seasoned to perfection and I’m not talking about salted to perfection lol. The food was bomb, my brother had not 1 but 2 cups of Hibiscus Tea, I had a cup of freshly brewed coffee not to mention they had flavored creamers , I was too excited too choose from the variety they had to offer me lol. A very cute, clean and cozy place too. I knew her (The owner 1/2) food was made with love when she picked out my brother blueberry cheesecake that her (homegirl from Philly makes)“ the statement that she made was “Let me get you a cute one”. People who perfect their crafts are the people who I admire the absolute most. I trust those people with my hair, health and food. When I say “That Breakfast Spot” didn’t disappoint I mean that with every fiber in my body. Please don’t walk haul tail and show this beautiful black duo some love.

When I first initially came in the place it was packed I did not place an order ahead. I placed my order and waited about 30 minutes. But it was definitely worth the wait, The owner was very polite. She offered extra for me waiting. That was very nice of her. You don’t get that as much. My experience overall was a great experience great atmosphere nice music. next time I’ll be placing my order Ahead of time. Everything was so good

My first time there, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. Their menu has so many different items that sound absolutely delicious, including the sandwich I got, which was “The Positive Pancake” sandwich. (bacon, egg and cheese on pancakes). These aren’t your average flimsy pancakes, these were huge and held the sandwich together pretty good. This thing was heavy, and filled me right up. Good bang for the buck. So if you’re looking for a place that has some good vibes great food, and great staff, stop in. You won’t be disappointed.

Had the waffle sandwich which looks and tastes awesome, but easier to eat a fork and knife as the waffle otherwise will start to fall apart in your hands when held. Still delicious, I’ll just use a fork next time.

This is a great hidden gem breakfast spot with some truly nice people. We were doing some doordashing there and we noticed how amazing the food looked. Then the lady working the counter (one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet) gave us some free samples to try ourselves, and let me say they got a loyal customer now! Delicious!

Wow!!! What a great place to come for breakfast, fish and grits cooked perfectly seasoned to perfection. “That Breakfast Spot” surely knows home cookin’. Orders might take a few minutes longer to come out of the kitchen but you can’t rush proper cooking. Come hungry because the portions are huge and the prices are worth every penny.

I started just getting the grits, which are out of this world. Then I discovered the French toast that doesn’t even need syrup. But this, now that’s an omelette! I’ll be here as often as possible for a delicious, healthy meal. They keep topping themselves, every single time!
