My friends were visiting from out of town, and after a day kayaking at the Weeki Wachee Springs we found Izo’s Latin Café in Spring Hill—what a gem! The arepa pepiada and carne esmechada arepa were fresh and full of flavor, the healthy bowls were delicious, and the tostones were perfectly crispy. Everything’s made to order and worth the wait.

My little piece of heaven on Earth!!! OMG!! Tasting Venezuelan flavor again was amazing! After 14 years without having a PATACÓN, I’m giving this one a Michelin Star ⭐️ Don’t wait any longer to try this finger-licking delicious food! And don’t forget to treat yourself to a mouthwatering, made-by-angels QUESILLO (flan)… it literally melts in your mouth!!!

Food is delicious & very friendly owners, the young lady in charge is always smiling & ever so pleasant. Wow! What a cool place, the food is very fresh and is prepared by 3 women that work like machines in the back.
The empanadas were delicious, and you could tell they were using fresh corn tortilla’s before being fried into the final dish.
The grilled chicken sandwich I had was also top notch, the chicken was very moist and perfectly cooked.
Overall, I give the place an 9/10, with the only detracting factors being no fountain drinks, only bottles, along with relatively long wait time (albeit worth it).

I also had the arepa mechada, so delicious and savory. It’s a large portion as well! This place is fantastically priced. An absolute steal for authentic South American flavors!

I have been dieting for 3 weeks now and eating out is a struggle. Well not at Izo’s. I thought I was going for salad but instead I tried the suncoast bowl. Mmmmm this was delicious. Fresh ingredients that were so good I almost had to slap the owners. Speaking of the owners Raquel and William were so nice I saw photos of their children and they were very knowledgeable about acai. There sorbet is absolutely to die for and reasonable priced. Not to mention such a clean restaurant. I hate eating at a dirty place. If you haven’t been here you must order now.

Came in here to try something new with my husband after we worked out at the gym. We got drinks to go with our meals but our meals took almost 40 minutes from the time we ordered them for us to get them and we were the only customers there. We originally were going to eat inside but decided to take it to go after waiting that long. We hoped the food would be worth the wait. We got home and I opened my bowl and the shrimp is rubbery. Wasn’t grilled but I’m guessing was microwaved as that the texture it usually has if you just throw them in the microwave. 20 minutes after we ordered while we were waiting for our order to come the woman that took our order asked my husband what kind of rice he got in his bowl again. Which made it clear they were just starting to prepare our bowls. The dressings were listed and I got the Greek vinaigrette which came with a cup of Greek dressing and a cup of vinegar? The people working there are nice but overall we wouldn’t eat there again. Low quality shrimp that I couldn’t chew isn’t ok. A little over 30 dollars for this and the quality just is not there for that price.
