I had a small issue with my order, and Maddie handled it effortlessly. She listened, stayed calm, and immediately problem-solved without any attitude or frustration. Honestly, it was refreshing to see someone so sweet, attentive, and capable under pressure.
Customer service like that makes a huge difference. Maddie’s kindness and professionalism alone would make me come back, and paired with the great food, Thai Cabin is definitely a spot I’ll continue to support. Highly recommend.
Unfortunately, I didn’t take notes on what I had aside from a curry with multiple meats in it. I have never had any type of Curry so this sort of shocked my taste buds. I tried a few mixtures of what was in the bowl. Trying to identify the flavors to understand the complexity. By the end of my meal I found a great appreciation for the depth of flavor in this meal. The meal came with fried rice which was quite yummy. I also tried some basil spring rolls that were very basic but greatly enjoyable. The plum sauce pairs well with the mixture in the spring roll.
If you are open-minded to try new things and don’t mind spending a bit more for quality not quantity this is your place. My server took great care of me. Helped me choose a menu items to try.
Food: 3/5 – Ordered masaman curry and almost stroked out from the amount of SALT in it. One bite and face was flushed from the sodium, no heat at all either. Wasn’t even semi sweet. Was supposed to come with avacado but got none. The cashews were toasted black, which I’ve never seen. I’d give less stars but the food did arrive hot (freshly cooked) and the egg fried rice was mediocre, and somewhat greasy like they cooked it with vegetable oil, no duck sauce or soy sauce. The saltiness was a salt salty.
Service: The food arrived tipped over and jumbled in a bag. Grease loosely coating all the containers.
Atmosphere: Unsure, but from all above mentioned issues and the fact 1 small can of coca cola was $4.00, I doubt I will ever return and I will avidly speak against eating here again.
Excuse me while I go swallow some blood thinners and guzzle a few gallons of water
STRAIGHT TRASH! Thin sauce, no flavor, and dry. I threw the whole order in the garbage. I can’t believe this restaurant has fallen off like this Definitely not going back there.
I stopped by for lunch while visiting the area. I wanted Thai food so I read reviews of a few places, looked at the menus, and decided on this place. The lady who was the hostess and waitress was very friendly and all around nice. The restaurant was VERY clean.
I ordered the massaman curry with shrimp and added broccoli. The online menu indicates it comes with avocado but it didn’t. I love avocados in my massaman curry so I was disappointed. I also usually order it with brown rice if they have or just plain white rice. I went with their fried rice because the waitress said most people like theirs. I didn’t like it at all. However, the curry was very good and for that reason, I would order it again. The lunch also comes with a salad or soup. I went with the salad. It was just lettuce.
