5 out of 5 stars for Josephine! Dined on a Sunday evening around 6pm without a reservation. Both the food and our server were great and I love that they have martinis on draft. We ordered a chicken Caesar salad, sausage rigatoni, and hot honey/pepperoni pizza. The salad was chilled and crisp, perfect for a hot day and the rigatoni and pizza were both delicious and substantial portions. Looking forward to going back!

We came for Dine Out Boston and had an unforgettable meal. I’ve been to a lot of restaurant week prix fixe meals, and never had such a good experience. Oscar and all the staff were delightful and attentive, the space was airy and beautiful, and every single dish we ate was unbelievably delicious. I will definitely be coming back!

Love the outline of the restaurant, staff are always accommodating and great food!! The house-made mozzarella sticks are a must. I wish I took more photos of the food but I’ve attached one to show how good the presentation is as well!

I was a little skeptical at first since it’s attached to the hotel, but Josephine’s is worth a visit. The food was delicious, and we had great service. I only wished we had a heads up that the food portions were family style (I may have overlooked it on the menu somewhere). We weren’t upset though because everything was so good. We ordered the chicken parm and deep dish pizza. I also had an aperol spritz, which was good. I knew when thr foccacia we ordered came out that everything would be good. It was fresh, warm, and soft. Everything was so good. They had a high chair but no kids placemats (fine with us – we come prepared). They verbally offered a kids menu. I wouldn’t describe it as kid friendly necessarily since it isn’t very casual, but they accommodated the kids well. Everything was great. I would recommend eating here while you’re in the area.

the waiters were very speedy and accommodating (as we were in a hurry) and i had some really good rigatoni with vodka sauce. however, the chicken caesar salad was even better with the acidic lemon + caesar dressing and the perfectly crisp croutons . the whole place was very clean in general.

After an event at the Somerville Museum, we searched for a place for lunch on a frigid day. The atmosphere is comfortable and welcoming and the outdoor seating options look great for warmer times of year. To get out of the bright sunlight, we sat at the bar and Cindy took good care of us. She was friendly, efficient and a delight and even slipped us an unexpected treat as we exited. The menu offers a nice variety of Italian favorites. My wife got the veggie eggs Benedict which she really enjoyed and took home with her. I got the focaccia with ricotta and honey (delicious!) and some Supplies (Arancini)

Then came the torched rice pudding. Creamy vanilla base, almond notes, and that brûlée-style crunchy top? WOW. Every spoonful is textural bliss.
I’ve been to Longfellow Bar, Alden & Harlow, Waypoint, and now Josephine—everything under Chef Mike’s vision has been on point. The cocktail program across the board is top-tier, and the food is consistently excellent.

The ambience of the place is vibrant. Food is average. We ordered the grilled foccacia, mushroom thin crust pizza, garlic & chilli spaghetti, and tiramisu.
Very average tiramisu, so was pizza and the spaghetti. They have tried to put a twist to original flavours, however, it’s very average.
Not ideal if you are going with a baby. The music and noise is very prominent.
Parking is difficult to find.

The ambience is what makes this place a 4. It has a classy atmosphere & tasteful decor that makes you feel like you’re at a moderately nice place.
The food itself was good, not great, with standard Camberville pricing. The menu really boiled down to slightly dressed up pizza and pasta.
