My daughter and I ate at Papillote when we stayed in Savannah overnight on our way to Virginia from Florida. We loved it so much that we came back early the next day to get an assortment of treats for our long drive ahead!
I just recommended that my friend try it when he was on a photo shoot there a couple of weeks ago. He really liked the food and was happy I had told him about it!

I’ve been living in the Savannah area for two years now, and this is my favorite place to eat. The food is fresh and totally delicious. Tasty and creative, it has a good mix of classic French food with American twist.

They have a regular menu plus daily specials. The last one I ate was a duck pie last week (basically a pie crust+spinach+duck confit+pearl onions+pecans)….I am hoping they will have this item again it was so good.

My 8 year old loves to eat the croque monsieur sandwich and my 7 year old who is a picky eater likes their fries (fried in duck fat). My husband eats pretty much anything on the menu and if you go on Friday, Saturday or Sunday then you get to eat their almond croissants (to die for).

The staff is super friendly, the place is clean and their prices are worth the food that you get served.

Highly recommend Papillote.

Favorite place in Savannah; no ifs, ands, or buts. Their staff is helpful and pleasant, their food is amazing all year long. I highly recommend choosing off of the daily specials board every time you go. It changes with the day and with the season so you’ll almost always be able to have something new and interesting. Don’t even get me started on the desserts. Everything they choose to do, they do interestingly and thoroughly; whether that be a side salad, a soup, a pastry, or an entree. Highly recommended.

This is probably my favorite place to eat in Savannah. Many of my friends comment on the prices, but when you think about it, you’re getting food made by a World Class chef that’s not your everyday, bland food, but truly unique, exceptional dishes. Although you can get food “to-go” (in the coolest to-go crates), this isn’t a fast to-go service but believe me, the food is worth the wait. When I want to treat myself, this is where I go.

Was here for brunch on Sunday. Food was amazing! Decor was whimsical and expected but pleasant. One would expect proper china plates with metal cutlery but paper plates and plastic forks didn’t stop us from devouring the Brioche French Toast. Which was AMAZING!

We were happy with our food but unfortunately the 45 minutes we alotted to eat before an appointment was not enough time. Even though they call it “French Cuisine to Go,” certain items on the menu may take up to a half hour to prepare. The staff was friendly though, and the area was pleasant on a sunny afternoon.

This place is awesome. I was tired of eating at mediocre lunch places around downtown. I haven’t had anything mediocre here. The croque is amazing. Or if your feeling like something different get the Parisian. I’ve never had something like that before.

First off I would like to say that it is difficult to find eateries that truly entice my wife and I. We decided to take the recommendation of a local to Savannah and stop in to see if the cuisine would stand up to our discerning palettes. We first decided to try two different macaron flavors, toasted coconut and blood orange. Each macaron was pleasantly sweet, not overly so like the commercially made ones, and each had the necessary delicate elements to make us smile. Being a chef and my wife a foodie who love to be surprised by cuisine, decided to ask the owner what she thought would be the best representation of the eatery’s character. We sat down to enjoy what was left of the macarons, a slice of fresh house made brioche with a sample of hot bell pepper soup, and an Arnold Palmer mixed from freshly squeezed lemon aid and fresh brewed tea. After a few minutes of chatting amongst ourselves, we glanced over to see that our secret tasting was on the way. The le parisien was humbly garnished with perfectly thin sliced green apple fanned out in a simplistic pattern over the top of toasted ciabatta topped with delicious ham, melted swiss and brie cheeses, a complimentary aioli, and topped off with fresh cracked black pepper. As soon as this combination hit our palettes we were thoroughly satisfied. It was well balanced, perfectly toasted, and the flavors complimented each other yet stood on their own. Needless to say it was a true pleasure.
