I have always been curious about this place until I finally decided to try it. The food here was love at first bite for me! You can mix and match your own platter and top it off with their white sauces and other sauces. The white and green sauces are the best combo! The staff is also really nice! I have tried halal carts before, but this place is even better! I can’t wait to try their other offerings! I highly recommend Shah’s!

Today, Monday, I went for the first time and I really enjoyed the food. Everything was very delicious and the atmosphere was nice and welcoming. The young lady who was serving was very kind and friendly with the customers. Excellent service overall. I will definitely be coming back!

It was my first time trying Halal food! Wow, was it delicious and unique. I ordered a platter. Chicken over rice. It’s served with brown basmati rice and a salad. There’s toppings you can add, I chose onions, peppers, and black beans. I added the white sauce! And added a side of pita bread. It’s was perfect! The chicken is flavorful with a little kick. All the ingredients were fresh. The restaurant was very clean and the woman who helped me was very kind. This place is a must!

I enjoyed a delicious and generous dinner from Shah’s Halal in Stamford. Very clean restaurant with pleasant and efficient service at the counter. Nice choice of fairly priced food with very fresh ingredients. Also love their Baklava. Easy parking for pickup. And don’t miss their green sauce, with the right amount of flavor and “cick.” I’ll be back!

Been watching this location change hands for years since Dairy Inn (sadly) closed. No other restaurant could stay open here, probably because there was not enough profit to justify a lease.
Finally, Shah’s steps in and this place isn’t constantly under renovation half of the year, the fact that this place has been open for so long is a testament to how good the quality is here.
This one is actually better than the one downtown. My usual go to is either cheese steak/chicken sandwich/kofta, lamb or combo over rice with a side of pakora chips.
My only gripe is I wish they had more beverages to choose from like root beer.

This is hands down the cleanest and freshest Shah’s I’ve visited! The service is outstanding, and the portion sizes are much more generous compared to the other three locations I’ve tried. Every time I’ve been here, they’ve never served me anything less than fresh— if there’s ever been a wait, it’s been no more than five minutes to prepare a fresh batch, which has never been an issue. Highly recommend stopping by to experience it for yourself

I learned about Halal food when I was going daily to NYC. I’m not positive if you’d call this Indian, Pakistani, Lebanese, or some other of those countries, but it’s in that vein of food and it is delicious! They’re always eager to help you know what to order and eager to please with giving you the ingredients and sauces you like with their food. I almost always get the chicken platter over rice with double meat, and I like mine XXXXXXXXXTRA spicy!!
