We stopped in for a late lunch after a soccer game. We were the only people in the restaurant. You could easily tell if we needed anything but our server hovered. She should have just sat down with us. We ordered the Dagwood and the “homemade” back bean burger. I say it that way since I asked if they were made in house, she said yes, nope. The decor is what you would expect at a diner in Texas. They do have a bar so if you want a cocktail or to watch the game step on in. Might want to ask your sever if they would like to join you.

Lucy’s on the Square in Celina is such a fun and welcoming spot! The atmosphere is lively and full of charm, perfect for a casual meal or a night out with friends. Our server, Nicholas, was absolutely exceptional attentive, friendly, and on top of everything. The food was delicious with generous portions that left us happily full (and with leftovers to take home!). Between the great service, fun vibe, and hearty plates, it’s easy to see why Lucy’s is a local favorite. Highly recommend!

I prefer giving small chain restaurants, five stars, but I still have to be realistic about the food, service,, and atmosphere.
The food was great.
The atmosphere was great and very authentic to country style North Texas downtown areas.
We did go on a very busy Saleh night because of homecoming events, but the service seemed slow due to the fact that the restaurant was not completely packed. There were open tables.
If the service improves, I’ll give it five stars.
For now, it is a spot I will go back to and continue to support. And if service improves, I’ll move it up to five stars.

Lucy’s is great! I go almost every Thursday night for DJ Trivia. The food is good, the atmosphere welcoming, and the wait staff friendly. Khloe is especially awesome.

Requested both hash and fries extra crispy, fries were some of the best we’d had. The hash browns though, could’ve used a bit more crisping up.

Walking into Lucy’s feels like a flashback. It’s right on the square in downtown Celina and the whole vibe just takes you back. There’s something about it that feels untouched by all the growth happening around it. In the best way possible.
The food is solid comfort food done right. Nothing fancy, nothing trying too hard… just good food in a place that feels like it’s been here longer than most of us. The kind of spot where you walk in and immediately feel at home.
If you’ve lived in Celina for a while, you already know about Lucy’s. If you just moved here… do yourself a favor and go check it out. Sit down, slow down, and enjoy it. Downtown Celina still has that small town charm and Lucy’s is a big part of that. Don’t skip it.

The wait was about 30 minutes but we used that time to walk around the square and explore the shops. Once seated we enjoyed soft drinks and fried pickles while waiting for our main dishes. The table chose the massive country burgers and a chicken fried steak dinner. Everyone was very happy with the portion sizes and the taste! The table also had chocolate cream pies ans ice cream. The chocolate pies tasted perfect and the crust was amazing! We will come

I recently went here for lunch and was highly impressed! I am new to the area and trying to find new places that I enjoy. The staff here at Lucy’s was so kind and welcoming, the food and service were impeccable and the whole restaurant has such a charming, comfortable feel. I think this will be added to the list of my new favorite places! Highly recommend trying Lucy’s. I do not think you will be disappointed.
