My GF and i went Valentines night. Was very busy as you would expect. Had reservations so no waiting. We were seated in a small room off the main dining room. Was not exactly where I was expecting but was fine. Issue was that there were 3 tables seating 2 or 4 (us and 2 others) in the rear of the room was a table for 8. The party that filled this were couples in their 20’s &30’s. They were having a great time but became very loud, especially the ladies. Made it hard to carry on a conversation. I am sure the dining room was loud as was packed but still can talk when it is. Guess traded the noise for table room. Food was very good as always and service was fine but nothing out of the ordinary. Will always go back but more careful when I make reservations.

Amici’s Cucina is hands down one of the best Italian restaurants I’ve ever visited, an absolute gem in the heart of Waterville! From the moment you walk in, the warm, inviting atmosphere and the friendly staff make you feel like family.
The food? Incredible. Every dish bursts with authentic flavor, clearly made from scratch with love and tradition. The pasta is perfectly cooked, the sauces are rich and layered, and the portions are generous. I highly recommend the Carbonara its comfort food at its finest. Whether you’re celebrating something special or just craving a hearty, homemade Italian meal, Amici’s delivers every time.
Do yourself a favor and make a reservation, you won’t regret it!

Overall, it was a satisfying experience. We did not have a reservation, and they were able to fit us in. We were concerned that the table of 12-14 ordering before us would slow down our order, but with tasty blueberry lemonade to nurse, cheesy French onion Soup to sip, and bread and oil to dip, any pangs were settled as the timing of our entrees joined the flow. The server was a veteran and knew the balance between attentive and annoying. The food was very pleasing. If there was one criticism to give, it would be that the sauce on the lasagna was too much, and the cheese was not enough. Does that count as two criticisms? Anyhow, you can’t go wrong here, and it sure as hell beats those chain Italian restaurants with their prepared microwave entrees!

Really good on Colby college parents weekend. I made a reservation 3 or 4 days in advance, which is not very long considering that the town doubles in size when every single parent comes to town. I liked the food. I liked the people I liked the ambiance. I like the prices. Amici’s was really pretty. Darn good

This place was awesome. I am NOT a fancy person, but this place was still great. My wife and myself went to celebrate our 10 year anniversary, after a recommendation from a Co worker.
The food was amazing, we were brought ice water right away, as well as a refill bottle if we wanted more. Also, our hostess lit a tealight candle at our table before we started. Was perfect. Every single bite was great. I felt like the cost of the food, for the quality of what we got was absolutely fair. Was just shy of 100 dollars for the two of us. I had san pellegrino for a drink, and my wife a cloud #9 mixed drink (no idea, very tropical) we had flatbread; drizzled with garlic and oil and covered with basil, mozzarella and tomatoes. I got the caprese stuffed chicken; came with roasted baby red potatoes and the vegetable of the day, which happily for me was asparagus. My wife got the 5 cheese lasagna. It came with no sides, but it was SO BIG she could only eat about half. Both meals also came with a salad. Between the appetizers and the main course we were served a small loaf of bread with dipping oil.
We thought about skipping desert, but when our waiter Forrest brought out a platter to show us the desert, I knew we’d have cheesecake. Best. Dang. Cheesecake. Ever. Caramel drizzled on top, and the cake was probably 2, 3 inches thick. Fantastic night. Thank you to Amici’s. We will most definitely be back.

Service was very good. The rice ball appetizer was still frozen in the middle. Told the waitress she said sorry, I expected the manager to come over or maybe it would be taken off the bill. I had the pecan crusted salmon it was 27.00 I have never seen a piece of salmon that small. That is not a 27.00 meal , even with the salad that consisted of lettuce croutons and 2 cherry tomato .

Food was absolutely amazing, I ordered the carbonara with the chicken and it was some of the best pasta I’ve ever had. The waitress was absolutely lovely and took great care of us as well. I think the only thing really taking me out of the experience was loud customers around us but what can you do y’know? Overall, absolutely stellar and will be coming back in the future.

Our family highly recommends going here! We had a family reunion and about 25 of us decided we wanted to go out together later in the evening. Although it was last minute they were able to accommodate us. The food was amazing! The service was fabulous and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. I would highly recommend this establishment! This would be a perfect place to take your loved one, a friend or an important client. First-class professional service with a smile! Everyone got different dinners and everyone loved their meal and dessert!
