Mi Ranchito is a must-visit if you are staying in Colorado City. The atmosphere is charming and you’ll enjoy the food. Unlike salsas at virtually every other Mexican restaurant, the salsa here is very spicy, with freshly-chopped jalapeños on every bite. I’ll have to post another review next time, because I was so hungry I dove into my meal before snapping a photo of the entire plate. One warning: You will need to check their hours of operation and plan around it. Don’t assume they’ll be open every night.

Came across this little gem on a business trip. I read many reviews and decided to stop here. Entrance is around back, we were greeted nicely and the food, service and atmosphere were all great. We along with all the other law enforcement in the county were eating here. Highly recommend. The homemade salsa is awesome.

This is a gem tucked away a little south of business 20 and Colorado City. The people are very nice and they atmosphere is top-notch.
I experimented with the twin Chuck special, it came with these deep fried stuffed potato and meat thingies that are delicious to Green beef enchiladas with a fried egg on ❤️

I always love going to Mi Ranchito! It’s a local staple that I always recommend everyone to go here when they come to town. The menu options are customer names which is so cool. I love the service and it’s so popular coming here. My favorite plate is the Joe which is 2 patitos and 2 green beef enchiladas. It’s delicious and I can’t find these patitos anywhere like this. You need to check this place out!

I love the place ,best in decor in this town but when I came in ,it was 15 minutes to 2 pm (closing time) I should had been warned
That the restaurant was going to close and not served the food
But so I took the food outside and I actually had fun eating outdoors……I still coming back.
But customers should be advice of this afternoon closing…..not everyone is a town resident.

Excellent food and service at a great value. Had the beef tips in ranchero sauce, beef enchiladas and crispy taco.all good. Salsa has a kick and chips were fresh. Good to have authentic Mexican food.

Surpringly nice spot though Margaritas are wine-based. Out of several Mexican restaurants within a 25 mile radius in the area, probably one of the best. Just the atmosphere is worth a visit.
