The cake is cute and decorated well, but it is not worth the price. $40 for this heart shaped cake, yet it is very very light … basically air with whipped cream. For that price I expected the cake should be very dense and rich like very dense European style, but with the quality it should be $15. I won’t be coming back for cake here.

I didn’t really find the workers to be all that welcoming. And, it was very messy to eat their chipotle chicken sandwich because their cube-sized chicken would get all over my tray each time I took a bite. However, it tasted pretty good. I just think they could have made the sandwich a lot better to make it easier to eat it.

This bakery has some really good pastries, they offer breakfast, and lunch menu options as well. The staff were really friendly and answered all the questions I had about the menu. The restaurant is well maintained and looks decent. They have outdoor eating tables and the staff brings your order in a reasonably quick time. parking is available next to the restaurant and they have a limited amount of spots. Overall this restaurant was ok, and I would visit again.

Pink Orchid continues to impress me with the quality of their food and coffee! Hands down, they have the best plain croissants I have had in Glendale. Absolutely delicious buttery and flakey goodness. I no longer buy croissants from anywhere else! But you do have to get them early. They are often out by the afternoon. Today, I stopped in to try the breakfast, and it was so just amazing. I had the veggie Khachapuri and it was delicious. The bread was crusty and flavorful, the inside cheesy and filled with veggies, and the egg yolks nice and soft with runny yolks. The breakfast comes with coffee, which, again, was wonderful. Smooth and so good I enjoyed drinking it black. Usually house coffee is garbage, but not at Pink Orchid. I feel they really take pride in their offerings and it shows. This is one of those places where I’m excited to pop in and order something new because I know I won’t be disappointed. Five stars!

I asked customer service if the cake was fresh since I needed to take it to the guest house. They said yes but didn’t show it to me. Later, when we opened it with the guests, it was molded—very embarrassing.

I’m a regular customer of this bakery. They always have freshly baked goods. Try the assortment of their cookies and peroshki. And as for the cakes, mikado is my favorite but honey cake is also delicious. They speak Russian, Armenian, and English. Great owners, great workers.
