This is our 2nd visit and both times have been over the top delicious. They offer hand made ice creams with new flavors often, some are adult and you will need to show I.D. as they will have some alcohol in them. They have sugar free and gluten free. I ordered a flight so I could try 4 different ones. This is definitely what I would recommend! Yummy!

Amazing flavors of ice creams as well as Adult, alcohol infused ice creams. We tried one with bourbon and it was delicious. Our others were chocolate and caramel varieties, with the exception of the seemingly out of place guanabana (which was also good).

This all natural ice cream was the absolute best in town. I had a scoop of lavender and scoop of Chocolate. The lavender was just the right amount of flavoring. Hubs had vanilla with hot fudge on top. He loved it! The young lady at the counter interested in forensics was so sweet. I hope she peruses her dreams. Many flavors to choose from. Adult flavors and regular flavors. Do not miss this stop or you just might regret it! Thanks for the yummy ice cream.

Great ice cream shop and great service! Loved the Spaghetti Eis dish. Cannot find this traditional German dessert anywhere else and they do a great job on it! The flight of the other ice cream flavors was awesome as well. We will be back !

I had a great experience at Das Ice cream cafe! My husband and I were just looking for some good ice cream and we got great ice cream and great customer service. They have delicious alcohol infused flavors as well as non-alcoholic flavors. I got the Bourbon Caramel Pecan (adult flavor) and my husband got a root beer float. We both really enjoyed our treats! And the staff were friendly, attentive, and helpful. Just for reference, we are a black couple. I was wary of Helen due to rumors I heard about racism but my husband and I did not encounter that problem at all. Everyone was kind and friendly. We will be back, we definitely enjoyed ourselves and felt welcome.

Superior Made-in-house ice cream. Choices span dairy free, sugar free, and even “adult” ice creams :). I tried the German chocolate, dairy-free and it was divine. See my video. Even the waffle cup was made fresh! This might be a small place, but it is not to be missed. Try it, you’ll like it!!

Das Ice Cream Cafe continues to blend local acquired ingredients, into the most delicious ice cream. There are so many varieties, each with a unique taste sensation. This was our second trip, from Florida, to Helen. Our first stop was Das Ice Cream Cafe, for scoops of the adult flavor, Bourbon Carmel Pecan. We talked with the owners while sampling several other flavors, Pumpkin Pie and Peanut Butter Cup, which were crazy good! It was obvious that they love what they do, are proud to promote local businesses , really care about the quality of their ice cream, and thrive on interacting with customers and sharing the history of Helen. Just heard about the new Das Ice Cream By The Bridge…I see specialty coffee and maybe more ice cream in my future!

Cute little ice cream shop! You walk in and the flavors are on the wall. They have alcoholic flavors, traditional, gluten free and dairy free! I had asked if they had gluten free cones and the sweet young woman said she did. The ice cream was great!
