Sometimes you want to treat yourself to greasy food. If I could only figure out their fry batter. Never disappoints.

Chicken city if love chicken this is the place for you.Crab sticks and scallops are good too. Skip the cheese steak. They have salads now but they’re made of raw cabbage and have no meat, so I paid 11.90 for two plater of raw cabbage a sprinkle of carrots and tortilla strips. What a waste of money.

Take out place. Woman taking orders were polite as usual. Food was exactly as you’d expect if your comming to this sort of fried food establishment. Seemed clean. Was a bit crowded but expect that because hyons is popular. Parking can be a problem.

I have been coming to this establishment off and on for years the food is pretty good when the oil is clean, but I went in there Wednesday evening. I was going to get a cheesesteak and I have to say that their cheesesteaks is one of the best in South Philly but what caught my eye when I went in there was one of the workers was sweeping the floor, which is OK, but I noticed he was sweeping the floor with his gloves on the ones that he handle the food with, so I’m standing there waiting for him to take my order and I noticed that he himself was eating a cheeseburger. He picks up his sandwich and eat it without taking his gloves off so my antenna went up. I’m like if he don’t takeoff his gloves for his food is he gonna takeoff his gloves to prepare mine so he finished sweeping put the broom down and walk over took out some rolls and started cutting the rolls with them same glove on that he had on while sweeping the floor I just kindly walked out. That is the most disgusting thing I’ve ever seen personally myself seeing Someone doing in a restaurant. needless to say, I would not be going back there because I don’t know what’s going on when I don’t see it. How many times has he had his gloves on and cleaning and then keep them same gloves on and cook with so disgusting

Love Hyon’s!! I go out of my way for their chicken wings. They are the best! They definitely need a remodel, but my husband and I drive there from North Philly just for a treat. Very greasy, but so tasty!

Got fish sandwich on wheat bread with lettuce tomatoes and onion. Everything was VERY FRESH and I could have made two sandwiches out of the one . Oh and the onion rings Everything was Perfect ❤️❤️
