Mezza Luna is a nice restaurant. I was recommended this restaurant a few times by friends of mine and stopped by recently to try it out. The portions sizes are good and the food is quite tasty. I like their chicken and pasta dishes a lot. The atmosphere is calm and pleasant inside the restaurant and the service is attentive. I look forward to dining here again soon.

My wife and I enjoy the new ownership and new rennovations. The menu remains true to its Italian selections and also provides some non-listed specials; usually a steak or prime rib protein, a fish, and vegetable plate. Managers and servers are always very attentive and accomodating. One night, I asked if I could order a shrimp cocktail appetizer, though it wasn’t on the menu, and the server came back telling us it would be fine. It was delicious! My favorite standard menu item is the chicken francaise, which is made with fresh tasting lemony flavor; the best I’ve had. My wife typically enjoys the pasta dishes. She recently ordered the spaghetti carbonara. The portion was so satisfying, she still has leftovers from her leftovers. Prices are slightly on the higher end, but you are always guaranteed to receive good food and good service. Mezzaluna is definitely one of the best restaurants in Brewster!

Chicken picatta was really greasy & I wish it had been cooked longer. Calamari was ok. Shirley temple had no cherry & not enough syrup. The bread you get to start was pretty good. The staff never came back to check on us after we got our food, which meant it took a to eat. Also took 10 minutes to get seated even though it wasn’t crowded. The place itself was fine; clean, very standard looking restaurant. Though I don’t know why it says it has outdoor seating? It doesn’t. Also, the pizza is takeout only. Overall, it’s edible, but not somewhere I would recommend.

Very nice service and courteous. Always asking how everything is going. Good was very good and mouth watering. Steak was juicy and cooked the way I asked. Definitely recommend for anyone looking to have a relaxing evening and wanting a good meal at a descent price.

Used to go here occasionally despite Aversano’s down the road being much better because objectively they do a great vodka sauce. But then this restaurant popped up several months ago in the local newspaper with multiple critical health violations so I’ve never gone back especially after I saw a dead mouse close to their door entrance several weeks ago.

I ordered a panini. The Mexza Luna panini to be exact. It wasn’t grilled and was a plain sandwich. So disappointing. We order every single Friday! On occasion we get an over cooked Buffalo chicken roll. Again, very disappointing.

It’s not that is good pizza… its GOOOOOD pizza and More! There are all these little places that have been popping up all over putnam county. Brewster’s Mezza Luna was one of the classic pizza spots to go to during work lunch hours especially in the summer. Tried their meat lovers pizza as well as their twist on a kiss of summer Mediterranean style salad pizza. A salute to Europe and a bow to Italy for this lovely creation of good eats. Revisiting after a few years I was greated with a classic pizza shop look into a chic “Nuevo Italiano” restaurant in its dining area equiped with a nice bar, fantastic wines and get this… the bathrooms are lovely too. If youre in this part of New York, in a town call Brewster, this is definitely the lunch and dinner spot for you!
